AIO or is my partner hiding something?

i have accused my partner of being unfaithful many times. am i over thinking?

me and my partner have had disagreements about their phone. my point of view is that i don’t want to go through it, i just don’t understand why they act like the worlds going to end if it’s near me. if they are around me, their phone is always on dnd or face down. their excuse is they are showing me their full attention. if they show me something on there, they’ll never let me hold it. if a text comes through and they have left it somewhere, they will never let me check it for them. where as me? i ask them to check who’s messaged me. i give them free rein of everything, as i have nothing to hide nor care if they see anything. they say they are the way they are due to trauma from past relationships and their phone being snooped through 24/7, whereas i accuse them of cheating because it doesn’t make sense to me the active hiding.

am i overthinking it?

feeling completely hopeless

for as long as i can remember, i have suffered from depression and anxiety. my depression makes me so negative, like everything is all doom and gloom. it makes me feel like nothing is ever ever gonna work out, it makes me not want to try, to change things in my life that are making me depressed, like i just am so alone. it’s made me lose all my friends due to the fact i just stopped trying and making effort, it’s completely my fault, the only real person i have right now is my boyfriend and that’s it, he’s my partner and my best friend. lately my anxiety has been causing me some major issues, i very rarely experience actual panic attacks, i instead just feel constant anxiety attacks. i can’t remember a day where i didn’t have a pressure in my chest or my body wasn’t in fight or flight mode. i perceive everything as a threat and a need to protect myself, even when there’s nothing to protect from. nothing in my life has caused this anxiety and depression, i just genuinely believe i have a diseased brain. my anxiety has caused me to experience derealisation, and it’s extremely distressing to me right now, and im also going through extreme health anxiety. i feel utterly hopeless. i have tried so many different anti depressants , both ssris and snris, but i just don’t get on with any of them. counselling / therapy is such a huge waiting list and unfortunately i am not in. a position to pay privately. i feel so hopeless, like i have no one to turn to, nothing to help me and endless waiting for help for something i know is destroying me and the person i am. i don’t know what to do anymore. i don’t have it in me anymore to continue fighting a losing battle, im exhausted

is it possible to heal in the same place that caused derealisation?

sorry if this isn’t allowed, but i’m after some help and advice…

i’ve been going through a tough time with derealisation, after sitting down and talking to a therapist about it, he theorised that it has happened because of prolonged stress and anxiety in my life. after thinking about what could of caused it, i think it has been my partner. without going into detail about the specifics, my partner has indirectly and unintentionally put me through incredible amounts of stress, anxiety, and exhaustion to the point where i felt like i just didn’t exist to them, like nothing about me was considered. i do truly believe that’s what has led to this, but im unsure if it is possible to stay in the same place where it has caused such distress? i don’t want to leave, because my partner is genuinely my life partner, but is it even possible to heal from this in the same situation ? is there a way where this can work?

any advice is welcome

irritation?

i’ve shaved my legs for years and have never noticed any sort of sensation after shaving them unless i have got razor burn. i have been through a period of anxiety so i am super hyper aware of my body right now, and lately ive been feeling my legs just feeling ever so slightly tingly and a little static? even the wind sometimes irritates them. i’ve been checked out and everything is okay.

so im just wondering if it’s perhaps from me shaving and im only now noticing it? has anyone else experienced this? no irritation on any other part of my body that i shave, and i also have strawberry legs ☺️

first day on venlafaxine

hi all, yesterday i took my first dose of venlafaxine (75mg slow release) and my god i have never felt worse. i’ve had
- nausea
- headaches
- sleepiness
-decreased appetite
- my whole body feeling like it’s vibrating or buzzing
- when i extend my legs they shake uncontrollably
- shaky hands
-huge pupils
- feeling like i’m on some sort of hard drugs
- heavy chest/heart and feeling like it’s working double time
- moments of feeling boiling and then freezing. it switches
- feeling so spaced out and not here
- not feeling real ( which i felt for a while anyway but this has increased it)

just wondering is this normal for my first day? i’m reluctant to take my next dose because of how terrible i feel, and im pretty anxious that it isn’t normal and im having a bad reaction to it? any advice or experiences are appreciated :)
