Wide or Xtra wide recs for UK trip with great slip resistance

I wear a womens 9XW/mens 8W/XE and will probably size up for thick wool socks and swelling. Headed to Scottish Highlands/Edinburgh/London so will likely encounter rain and slippery cobblestone streets. My biggest concern is comfort and not wiping out on slick ground. I live in Florida so will be ordering online since stores carry very little in this category. I can research all day but need some real life input especially regarding the slippery experiences. I do have very sensitive feet so not confident in the comfort of the more rigid styles offered by Keen and Merrell, I will try them again but in the past they have felt too molded and hard on my soles.

Big decorative planters

Just bought 2 Japanese yews in pots, that will stay in pots for at least a year, and need to get some better looking planters for them to go in. Any suggestions of where I should look? The less expensive, the better.

Pay and insurance

It is nearing a time when my elderly parents need a caregiver. I am willing to do it, I want to, but I am going to need health insurance. My parents can afford to pay me for care but I am wondering what I can do for health insurance. I think it will be about $800 per month. Can I be set up as self employed and have taxes taken out, or does their accountant handle taxes and they pay as an employer? Could I qualify for ACA health insurance subsidies? They live in a small rural town in Alabama. Finding an additional job, especially that offers benefits will be difficult. I know I need to consult an attorney but I am just in the early stages of thinking this through

Health insurance premiums

My adult son (21) and myself (mid 50's) are about to start job searches and Publix might be an option. We are in Florida. Wondering what the insurance premiums are for new hires, does it start day one, part-time and full-time, individual and adding spouse or dependent. Any info at all is very much appreciated.

Jobs that offer insurance

I am about to begin a job hunt, pretty new to the area, and need something that offers a family health insurance plan. What are folks paying for family plans through employer?

Which Publix, or any other store, has the best selection of flowers for build your own bouquets? Years ago, Winn Dixie was great for that...six $4 bundles could make a beautiful arrangement but I think they have all closed

I am extremely intolerant to gluten and oats. Dairy has never been an issue, so far. I switched from breakfast of plain Greek yogurt to cottage cheese a few months back, specifically one that contains carrageenan. All my glutening symptoms are back, especially a nagging pain in my lower left abdomen and same spot in my back. How does everyone else react to carrageenan?
