I’m 17 gonna buy a car very shortly, I do not have my liscence yet however it will be in a garage me and my dad own, so i’ll take care of it and clean it etc, i’m not far from my test.

I have roughly £1750 and I would kind of like to go older? I like for example mk3 astra, just any car you would think would be in the scrappage scheme, pre 2000 cars.

Does anyone know of anything remotely reliable for that price and age group?
