Hey all.

Just wanted to know what the best minor would be in this market to take with Accounting BBA business track.

Or would it be overall better to take advanced accounting.

My problem is that I don’t want to become a CPA, so im in a dilemma of wondering if maybe the business track accounting + a minor would be a strong candidate versus the advanced track accounting degree.

Please if you have any insight .

What kind of jobs are out there for this concentration?

What types of internships should I apply to?

Any minor suggestions to make me a strong candidate?

I don’t really want to get the CPA.

Is 20% windshield tint good for those who have it?

I’m debating on getting 20% or 35% on the windshield in ceramic but not too sure how it looks.

Many say 20% should be fine since I live in a big city with lights everywhere, but say I go somewhere rural, does it get difficult?

Or say if there’s a huge pothole or big rock ahead, would the 20% reduce the time it takes for me tie register there’s something there?

How was your experience with 20% on the windshield for those that do have it. Have any of you switched to a lighter % after being with 20%?

I have a Goyojo GT 116 tint meter. (Yellow one)

My vehicles front driver/passenger side before with no film reads around 76%

But with the applied 20% carbon tint from United auto film, it should stack to about 15% VLT

0.76 x 0.20 =0.152 %

Or could it be that the meter is doing math wrong, or possible the 20% tint advertised isn’t actually 20 and more so 26%

I notice many people have Virginia plates in NYC. I see that there’s instagram brokers who can get you the plates.

Wouldn’t this be an issue with insurance? For instance. You drive mainly in NYC, your license is NY issued. Wouldn’t insurance know that this vehicle isn’t really being driven in Virginia?

Or is it an actual bypass?

Is it true if I put my garaging address in my upstate home where rates are cheaper when I drive in nyc.

If I crash in nyc, will geico still pay my claim or deny.

Please since you all work at geico you must know what usually happens.

Does it get denied due to garaging address misrepresentation /rate evasion. Pls help.

I’m literally saving 1.2k a month.

And yes I’m a very good driver. Never gotten a speeding ticket. My rate in nyc home is more because of the area I live in. But I have my own parking space.

How are these insurance brokers cutting your car insurance in half? A lot of them claim they know agents within the company.

I know all they do is change the garaging address. But if you crash in nyc wouldn’t they just deny the claim once they finish their investigation due to material misrepresentation.

I asked couple of them what happens during accidents. And they claim that said insurance company does not care about that.

Is this stuff even true?

I completely lied on my auto quote. I said I was military, did defensive driving, did a drivers ed course. My rate came down immensely.

It has now been little over a year. Geico has yet to ask for anything?..

I am now in much better position to where I removed all of those “fake” discounts and can afford it. But wow! That is crazy!

I filled out the major declaration paper and signed it, who do I send this to?

I’ve sent emails to the qc accounting dept but it’s been over 2 weeks, have not heard back from them.

Incoming transfer student here. I am having issues registering for the QCard. I get errors on the AMS.

I also cannot access the stu-mail new qmail. But I don’t think that’s an issue for now since the cuny email is now unified, I still receive all alerts.

Do you guys know who to contact and get fast help?

I just saw an unmarked Chevy Blazer. They have some dark tint on the front 2 doors and on the windshield.

Is this like a specialized unit or maybe an undercover op car?

I’ve been to QC before with my friends and know the layout and stuff. I also know how CUNY system works from my previous CUNY college.

Is it mandatory for me to go? 10-6pm seems crazy lols.

It’s a rule that you yield the right of way to oncoming traffic when turning left. I understand that many NYC drivers are aggressive, I my self am sometimes aggressive within reason, been driving since ‘06 but why do they start honking and flashing their high beams when there’s an oncoming car coming at 30mph???

Hey all, I have my security license now, but I see that many of the “chill” sites require a Fire gaurd certification such as f-01 or even f-02.

I checked FDNY’s website, the say that you need “employer letter of recommendation”. I don’t have that yet, can I apply to the job now and get it later? Can I call up a security school to give me a recommendation letter for a fee? Or how would this work?

I saw that you get an on the spot decision. What exactly is that process?

Do they open your application and just admit you?

I log in using the new one as stated in the email, but I am stuck with a white loading screen, I’m pretty sure after I log in I should be prompted with the MFA manager screen but that doesn’t appear.

I’ve tried clearing caches&cookies, I’ve tried incognito mode on various different devices and browsers. I’ve read other forums here saying to click the back arrow, that also didn’t work.

I even went to the help desk (BCTC), they tried helping but escalated it to their head. They told me it should be fixed soon.

And honestly I’ve heard stories that it takes much longer. Have any of you dealed with this? Can any of you give insight?

Hi all,

So I recently had my name changed. So I was given a new cuny log in email.

Now when I try logging in. I am given a white loading screen. I’ve tried all private browser methods/ clicking back arrow methods. Default language is English. Nothing seems to work.

I have even cleared my Authenticator app of my previous emails log in, nothing works.

I called BCTC but the lady was unhelpful.

I’m going to go tomorrow in person to see, but as of now I cannot log in to brightspace or cuny first.

Do you guys have any solutions?
