While I'm relatively new in the world of yumeshipping and OC x Canon, I've been quite fascinated by the concept lately, I’m especially interested in OC × Canon since I’m more comfortable creating ships between my OCs and fictional characters rather than self-shipping. 😅

For instance, a few months back, I commissioned a ship between my Tekken OC Yuuki Kamiya and Asuka Kazama to an artist known as Raydash!

I also have another OC x Canon ship from SoulCalibur, where my OC is basically an interpretation of The Conduit character (the protagonist from SC6’s Libra of Souls mode) paired with Cassandra Alexandra. No artwork yet on that one, but I've definitely done some shitposting on that one. 😂

Well, let's just say that I'm looking forward to meeting you guys, seeing all of your ships, and getting to know each other!

Is there a good photo mode mod anywhere for SC6?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been brainstorming about how I could make this ship work, and I think I finally figured it out: I could make it a Shirou × Saber-coded dynamic.

In this case, Cassandra would take on the Shirou role, while my OC would take on the Saber role. My OC is heavily inspired by the Cadet from Chronicles of the Sword in Soul Calibur III, and the more I researched the Cadet, the more I noticed some interesting parallels with King Arthur.

Both characters essentially start out as nobodies, but eventually rise to become leaders who rally people around them. The Cadet eventually establishes their own army, Arthias, while Arthur becomes the legendary king of Camelot.

Another similarity I noticed is the Cadet’s tendency toward what TV Tropes describe as a “Chronic Hero Syndrome” basically they feel the need to help everyone, oftentimes to their own detriment. That immediately reminded me of Shirou and his own idealistic obsession with becoming a Hero of Justice from the Visual Novel.

That’s what inspired me to create a sort of sword-and-shield dynamic between my OC and Cassandra. Cassandra would be the shield, but not in the sense that she simply stands back and protects my OC. She’s the type to actively throw herself into danger when someone she cares about is hurt, putting herself between them and whatever threatens them. Meanwhile, my OC would be the sword, moving forward and confronting the danger head on. So they’re both very active in protecting others, but they approach it from different directions: the sword moves toward the danger, while the shield puts itself between the danger and the person it wants to protect. It also helps that Cassandra’s moveset in 6 has a lot more emphasis on her shield rather than her sword, making this fit pretty nicely in my opinion.

So rather than simply making them a romantic pairing I think could be fun, I think their relationship could have this deeper thematic parallel to Shirou and Saber like “two people who embody different sides of the same ideal of protecting people they love, with one in a not so healthy way of tackling it while the other in a more reckless way”, making Cassandra and my OC perfect foils towards one another.

What do you all think of this idea? Does the Shirou × Saber comparison make sense for Cassandra and my OC?

Now I just need to fully bulid her and her teammates with good relic substats completely all of 3.X story to E6 RMC and unlock his EBA trace and sig LC as I just started out Penacony, then I can destroy all of endgame MUHAHAHAHA 😈😈😈

It all started because I got curious about the lore of Soul Caliber, so I decided to do a little digging. While researching, I came across Cassandra, and it didn’t take long for me to realize she’s surprisingly similar to Asuka Kazama from Tekken, who’s already one of my favorite characters.

What really made me love Cassandra is how much she genuinely cares about her family. She’ll do anything to protect the people she loves, even if it means throwing herself into danger without thinking twice. She’s kind, brave, and just reckless enough that it becomes endearing rather than frustrating.

And don’t even get me started on her battle idle animation and Critical Edge* *in VI* *She’s so unbelievably adorable and energetic that that it genuinely put a smile on my face.

I don’t know what it is, I do love me some Tomboys, probably one of my favorite character archetypes. 😂

Also her Soul Caliber 3’s ending is so funny, poor Cassandra. 😅

I want to pull him so badly as he’s so cool and badass, gameplay is quite fun and the fact that the HSR team recommended system suggest using him together with Gil and Saber is a huge plus for me, really hope V3 buff Gil’s synergy with him and by extension Saber. 😩🤞

After losing so many 50/50s I finally E6 Saber 😭

Trying to build a 160 spd Sunday for my base spd Saber and it is HARD, no wonder everyone is suffering trying to hit certain speed threshold 😭

Hey guys I was wondering if this build for Saber who’s at E4S1 going to E6 her soon, is good enough. I’m using her together with E0S1 Sunday, E0S0 Tribbie going to get her E1 soon and a DHPT who’s at E1S1. I know Saber now wants the Banana set cus of DHPT but other than that is there any tweaks I need to make?
