Hi I had submitted my application last Thursday on the 14th of May for norway . I got an sms regarding passport courier, I am so nervous right now. Hope I got the visa, some people say a shorter turn around time is a good thing. I hope so

I have made a typo error in my employer's name in the german visa form. Now the application is already gone. One alphabet in the company's name seems to be missing, I overlooked it while checking. Will I be refused visa coz of this type error in the form? I am really worried. My resident permit and all other docs match the employer name.

It's been a week and haven't heard from the german embassy who processes norway visa also in my country of residence. I submitted my application a week ago. Normally german embassy takes a week to 5days. My friend says if they r taking longer it means it's approved. Refusal happen faster . Is it true?

Just wanna know if I cud keep the same travel dates that we used in the refused application previously. The dates are last week of July. Or shud I change the travel dates since I used the same dates in previous application?

I have had 2 previous schengen visas. I stayed more days in Swiss than germany last year after getting the visa from germany. But in the application i showed more days in Switzerland. Now I applied for norway. Will that be an issue since I stayed a day in germany in a week in Switzerland.?I didn't have issues at immigration last year and exited on time. Will i be refused for norway.?

There's a question on the german visa form, "have you ever been issued a schengen visa in the past 3 years?" . If I have had 2 previous ones issues in 2024 an 2025 which ones do I enter? There's place only for one visa number. Please help

I seem to have overlooked a small type mistake in my company's name when signing off at the end. An alphabet in the end was missing from my company's name after the manager's signature at the bottom, however the letter head is correct and so is the rubber stamp. Will this cause a refusal? Even the form was filled correctly . Just that an alphabet in the end of the company's name was missing. Example Farhat so it's written as farha

Can anyone be black listed or banned by vfsglobal for being rude or something like that? Can they influence the embassy's decision?

Hi I just submitted my application for norway ay vfs global. I dnt remember if the staff took my travel insurance and hotel bookings. She never asked for them. I already handed the whole bundle of papers to her, all she did was I think take a few copies of the travel bookings for my wife since I didnt print copies of it. I am so worried, I hope they haven't forgotten my flight and hotel bookings or I will be refused. Just to be sure do vfs staff inform u if anything is missing or make u sign a declaration or something or won't proceed till the documents are complete.? Pls help, really worried

The german embassy in my country handles norway so when I get the passport back will the visa sticker be from germany or norway?

Hi I am applying to the german embassy. Last year whn I got the visa i didnt include my wife's name in the noc from my company since she was traveling with me. This year also I am doing the same. Is it okay or shud I include my wife's name in the noc also ? I have written a separate sponsorship letter for her signed by me.

I get paid via cheque, I am applying for norway. I have included three months pay slip along with the salary certificate and noc. Do I need to mention chq numbers also in the pay slip or is it not required?

Can I leave the surname at birth column blank in the videx for for germany? It's nt mandatory and plus my surname at birth was the same. I think this question is for people who have had their last names changed

I have prepared all the documents necessary for the german embassy. However my company's rubber stamp is slightly faded when stamped on the noc, so the commercial license number is 296 which is slightly broken when stamped. Is this OK? The company name is otherwise clear.

I emailed the german embassy with a few queries of mine regarding documentation. They replied to a few. Hope they didn't get annoyed. I am applying for a visa soon. Will I be refused since I emailed them ?

I get a paycheck every month for salary. However the cheque series changed sine payment was from a different account in the past 2 months. When applying for a schengen visa does the embassy check all this as in the cheque series and stuff or just whether salary is deposited into account? My salary slips match the bank statement.
