I was in Chicago in June. I had booked country inn suites but when I got there they canceled my reservation since there was a tornado in the vicinity. So we had to move to holiday Inn. A few days later I called country inn asking a few times since I have ocd if they had my passport copy with them. They got irritated and said I cud call the authorities if I wanted to and confirm that they dnt have my passport copy. Now I thought they re gonna call the cops on me or something. I even got a call from a an unknown private number on my usa Sim card. I wanna know if they had called the cops would the cops come n hear my side if the story also. Noone came to holiday inn where I was put up though. On exit I didnt have any issues at immigration. But my i94 doesn't seem to show up online also since I came back frm Chicago. I hope this has nothing to do with the hotel incident. I am just scared being on a b2 visa i dint wanna get involved with the cops.

I recently started my own business hence my residence permit details changed from employed to investor in my country. I have a valid b2 visa. Is my b2 visa still valid since the employment details changed in my country of residence?

Does having a 5 yrs validity passport newly issued have any impact on getting a visa? I mean do the embassies look at a 5 yrs passport negatively?

Hi

I recently arrived in Mumbai, at the Mumbai airport immigration i asked a few questions abt my passport pages which i was curious to know if they were damaged or not. The immigration put my passport under the uv light a d checked a few pages n returned my passport. Does this mean I am flagged or anything since they scrutinized my passport under uv light since I asked a few questions. I knw that if someone is flagged they detained u at immigration and question. Pls help me with this query, it's making me anxious.

If I have a 5 yrs validity Indian passport instead of a 10 yr passport will it have a negative impact on getting a uk visa?

Hi I have an Indian passport. I wanna know if I will know at the immigration in india if I have been flagged by the Indian embassy in Bahrain. I am guessing I will be questioned if I am flagged. Is there any way I can find out if I have been flagged by the Indian embassy?

I have an Indian passport which might go into damaged. If it goes into damage the words "damaged passport canceled and returned will be mentioned on the last page of the new issued one. Will this make my b2 visa invalid . My b2 visa page and bio page r intact. Will the b2 visa be usable even though passport is damaged?

Hi

I am unable to view my i94 ever since I returned from the USA. if I enter my visa number I am able to view the record but the exit is still not being displayed, so as per their record I am still in the USA. I tried emailing them but no use. Will the usa embassy also have the same record or it's a different system altogether? I mean will the usa embassy know I exited since online it's not showing I exited.? I have kept copies of boarding passes and ticket also if it's required in the future to prove my exit I hope i dnt get a visa revocation notice by email just coz it shows I haven't departed online.

Hi I wanna know if altering the spouse name column on the last page of my Indian passport will cause my b2 visa to become invalid. I wanna make corrections to the spouse name column on the last page. So will my b2 visa still be valid. The first biographical page is intact .
