I’ve done Halloween makeup looks for every year of college. It’s my last year and I want to go out with a bang but I don’t know what I can do to one up what I’ve already done. Here’s my collection in chronological order:
It’s more of a hat at this point. 3 other big, nice, quality rock hides but no. This is the only one she wants to use.

I’m a college student and I just bought an ebike for about $1400 approximately 2 weeks ago. I got permission from the housing department to move out of my dorm and into summer housing a couple days late because I was out of town. I had two bikes, an older broken one and my brand new replacement locked from the wheels to the frame right in front of my building in the courtyard. Both were where I left them when I got back.
On Wednesday, the day I returned and began moving my stuff out, there were various facility employees and contractors throwing out garbage students leave in the hallways after moving. I was doing multiple rounds of grabbing things, walking across campus, dropping them off, and walking back again. When I went back to my dorm to grab more things after one of these rounds, I noticed my bikes were gone. No other bikes around the building were touched.
I contacted the campus safety office and unfortunately the cameras do not have a good view of where my bikes were. You can kind of see the area in the corner of the screen and you can see some of the workers doing stuff back there but seeing any details is impossible. My broken bike was found today in the campus activities office but my new one is still missing.
It is my main form of transportation and without it, I have had great difficulty getting food and getting to and from work. It took me months to save up for this replacement so I can’t really afford another.
If it is not found or has damage, do I have any avenue of recourse against the school or other parties?
The enclosures for these animals are perilously small. I put my tiny hand up as comparison for some of the photos. They are cohabitating reptiles in spaces 2-3 times smaller than the minimum required for just one. There is a copperhead and rattlesnake together in a 20 gallon long. That milkshake, corn snake, rat snake, and cottonmouth enclosure are 5 gallons at best. Those skinks require at least a 6 ft long enclosure, more per lizard, and there were at least two in there. There were so many more egregious examples.
The enclosures were also disgusting and completely unkempt. There was shit everywhere, including all over the glass, as well as very old skin flakes. Any water present was also incredibly dirty. I can’t know the humidity and temperatures in each enclosure but I doubt they were being monitored very closely and it’s impossible to keep a gradient in a space that small.
I have way more experience with reptile husbandry than other animals but the rest of the zoo was hardly better. They are only accredited through the ZAA, not the AZA, but I am definitely reporting them. Do not go here if you are visiting Richmond!
I replaced my previous e-bike with a Revibike Runabout 2.0. It’s awesome so far but I do a lot of night riding and I really liked having turn signals which my old bike had but this one doesn’t.
Anyone have add on turn signals they like using?
