Years ago I know there were bootleg DVDs of Halloween 6 being sold that contained the various versions and a workprint. I was too young back then go buy them myself and they slipped from my mind for the last decade or so. I'm looking to pick them up if they're available anywhere anymore.
Been playing my original 1.0 cartridge the past week in preparation for the remake. I was on my way to the Water Temple when I stopped playing last. Loaded up my file and I was back to the save before that in the Fire Temple. I reset the game and my file menu had no medallions or spiritual stones. My inventory is shown in the pictures and is obviously corrupted. I reset a second time and my file was completely missing. Did my cartridge just decided to take a dump? I have never seen results like this before. Even through glitches I don't even know if it's possible to write deku sticks over bottles. I've also never seen a file disintegrate like this. At any rate, I guess my run is over, haha. Wild.
My wife is playing Lufia 2 (and loving it) and she just got to the ancient cave. She found a dry sword which is better than anything I've ever found. She got to floor 16 and there doesn't seem to be a staircase anywhere. Obviously she doesn't have providence yet. Is there a way out of this?
I've had my Super Nintendo for over twenty years and it's been with the family almost since launch day. It's always worked very well and I can't recall any issues except this one. If I play a game for a while, obviously the pins get warm. If I eject a cartridge and pop in a different one it won't sit properly (feels like it's resisting as opposed to going in smoothly) but oddly if I blow into the cartridge it seems to have a higher chance of seating properly and actually working. Is this normal for the SNES or is there an issue with mine? It's been like this for as long as I can recall so if it's a problem it must be very minor.
I figured this discovery would have been bigger. I know we already have most of if not all of the footage on those tapes but the higher quality is really cool. I'm hoping they somehow become public, I'd really like to see it all and I'm sure John Carl Buechler and the rest of the crew would want their work fully publicized.

Found a solution in switching to the 1.0.2 update and that did work flawlessly from what I could tell but I've read that that's actually an inferior version of the game. I've tried many troubleshooting methods (running in windowed mode, updating drivers, switching to 60hz refresh rate, etcetera) and nothing seems to be working. I'm trying to get the HD Project installed and then the randomizer mod but I want to make sure the game is working properly beforehand, especially since it wouldn't load either mod previously either, regardless of if I ran the 1.0.2 update or not. I'm not sure what I'm missing here and I'd appreciate some help.

Looking for a ballpark estimate, of course there's no precise answer. I don't see any damage on the port itself but the signal goes out after a minute or two and won't come back in.
As I recall they were raid rewards when they released and I imagine now they're in crystal raids, but I read that the snowsuits can be obtained by giving a second gift to Goku and Vegeta. Is this true?
I had what I felt was a decent team going into Victory Road in vanilla Diamond but I made the mistake of not planning for a Torterra. I simply forgot it had crunch and lost Gengar, then shortly after I lost Quagsire. Without Gengar, I couldn't do much to a Gyarados and the double battle against the aforementioned and Medicham resulted in everything but my Infernape dying. I carried on and watched Infernape impressively take out trainers by himself, including one shotting a Golem which I didn't think it could. Finally, I arrive at death's door, another Gyarados. I try to burn but it just goes for hydro pump. A blaze boosted critical should kill but I don't get it, but then Gyarados just uses dragon dance. I can maybe still outspeed and kill but I don't outspeed so that's game, except this Gyarados might be genuinely retarded because he then clicks rain dance. Same turn I get a burn then kill next turn with mach punch. In disbelief, I made it through the battle and now I'm determined to see this run through. I am very, very inexperienced in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum so I don't know what's next, but if Infernape can get out of this cave alone (could just escape rope and rebuild but nah) then I think I can still put together a winning team.
I'll never not be amazed by how quickly a nuzlocke can turn south. An experienced player can get crushed under the weight of one bad decision, one low roll, one critical hit, one bad matchup, just about anything really. I consider myself pretty decent at Pokemon but one oversight led to the dreaded domino effect that cost me some strong teammates and has forced me into a pretty tight spot. If I pull this through it'll definitely be the best comeback I've ever achieved.
