A short Ryoji Ikeda–like piece I animated and made the sound for

I figured y'all here might like it, even if it's a bit different from what's usually posted here. Here and there I make stuff like this with my constructed writing system, and this time it happened to look kinda like some sorta funky 90s UI.

Made this with a concert flute, a sample of a bird call, and guqin taken from a Chinese movie

And a whole lot of pitch shifting and EQ, naturally, but it's cool how you can do so much with just a handful of samples. The guqin is specifically from here, I've had a sample of this saved for years, so I've used it here and there for all sorts of things.

Turned horse galloping and neighing into the sound for this animated piece

The new blossom bug would actually be great if they implemented it as a QoL feature for a fully charged heal on weapon swap only

I've played a couple of games since the bug went live, but with a bit of experimenting, I feel like it does actually come in real handy when you need to switch and heal someone quickly. That being said, I feel like it's only good when you've got a fully charged blossom stored (or at least something close to that, maybe like 70+) and only if you're actually targetting someone.

I'm guessing they're gonna fix it at some point, but I wouldn't mind if part of the dreaded rework was this since it actually makes weaving faster and allows you to go back to damaging quicker (plus it'd increase the skill ceiling even more, which would be cool).

Made some sounds for a series of animated pieces with my writing system

A couple years back, I wanted to try my hand at sound design for these short pieces I made, and I was really happy with how they turned out. I've been producing music for years, but sound design's not something I ever really did much, so yeah, I figured it'd be nice to get feedback from people who actually understand what they're doing.
