Complete novice seeking advice: Best audio option for 2005 Maxima 3.5 SL with Bose tape deck?
Hey everyone,
I'm hoping to get some advice on the best way to play music from my phone through my 2005 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL.
I'm a complete idiot when it comes to cars and car audio (I only vaguely know what a "head unit" is!), so I really want to avoid taking the dash apart or doing any complicated installations if possible.
Here are the details on my setup:
Stereo: It’s the factory Bose system (specifically the Bose CR310 with a tape deck, but no aux jack or built-in Bluetooth).
Phone: iPhone (I already have a 3.5mm-to-Lightning dongle ready to go).
What I'm looking for: Either a reliable Bluetooth cassette adapter OR a good old-fashioned wired tape adapter that plugs into my dongle. I looked for Bluetooth cassette adapters locally, but options near me are either completely out of stock or have terrible reviews.
(Ideally also not crazy expensive)
If anyone happens to have dealt with this specific Bose tape deck, what cassette adapter actually sounds good and won't constantly auto-eject?
Thanks so much for the help!
