Can someone take a look at my results from a 24 hour urine test & blood work-up, which I received via the lab directly. I'm seeing my doc again in 2 weeks for follow-up, but I'm concerned about the issues that are out of range and don't know if it's wise to wait…Input/guidance is much appreciated.

  • I completed a 24-hour Urine Test, dropped it off to the lab and completed ordered blood work-up (fasted for 12 hours) so both specimens (urine & blood) were retrieved within est. 30 hours of each other. Results shown in screenshot below:

  • My blood tests have come back positive for DNA (DS) Antibodies since 2021, however each of those tests have shown a negative ANA result. This has caused rheumatologist to not be able to pinpoint and give me an official diagnosis for the laundry list of chronic symptoms I've been managing since 2014, not long after I was treated for Lyme Disease (not sure if relevant). Below is screenshot of DNA(DS) Antibodies from 2021-present.

  • Platelet count from 2021-present (slightly elevated in most recent test? Is this an issue I should address w/ doc?)

  • JUST WANT TO ADD: this was my first visit w/ this doctor (specializes in Nephrology & Internal Medicine) so I'm not familiar with his process/approach when determining which Testing/Lab Work-ups to order for his patients….I am just wondering if such an extensive 24-hour urine test is what he considers a standard, routine test given his background in Nephrology, OR if he possibly suspected something could be going on kidney related, just based on what we discussed at that initial visit leading him to order a more extensive test of my urine….Any thoughts on this?

Sorry for the length and if any of this isn't clear or doesn't make sense I don't have a medical background and am quite overwhelmed by all of this and was pretty taken aback when I saw so many Red out of range flags splashed all over the page. I obviously will discuss this all with my doctor at my follow-up appt, but in the meanwhile any responses/feedback/input based on these results would really be appreciated as I would really rather have a heads up of some sort as to what to expect when I see the doctor…hopefully it's nothing and I can go back to managing everyday life as usual lol

Thank you again for your time and assistance on this. It is truly appreciated.

Just want to share a product I have been using….

Does anyone else use Dr. Lift body scrub and also their body wash? Together they are the best products I’ve found for exfoliating without drying my skin while being antibacterial which I like…and the smell of the body wash in particular my God I feel like I’m on an island lol it’s amazing 🤩

I def recommend this for my neurodivergent and executive dysfunctional pals on here who may find the pleasant texture/smells to be a positive pull. 🫶🏼

WWYD ??

I apologize in advance if this is "TMI" but want to explain situation for your honest suggestions/feedback on how to handle my current situation…..

I was taking medication that caused significant rapid weight gain resulting in me moving up a whole full dress/pant/shirt size. There's no way to sugarcoat it, about 99% of my pre-weight gain clothing as of today cannot be worn not even with a good stretch 😖 so over the last year I've had to buy new clothes in gradually larger sizes. Point is - I stopped taking this med several weeks ago and since then have been praying/waiting patiently for my weight to adjust and go back (at least somewhat) to my old self, however it's not happening the way I had hoped and I am now WILDLY overloaded with a disorganized mess of a closet that's packed with all varying sizes and I don't know where to start getting things in order. My question is….given the situation would you hold on to the clothes that dont fit (maybe for a season or two) ? Or would you just clean out/donate and focus on organizing what currently fits and worry about potential weight loss if/when that magical day ever comes….? As I'm typing this I feel like it's such a stupid question to be asking but a lot of these clothes weren't even worn yet still with tags on and some not cheap, so I'm worried about being too impulsive in my "decluttering mode" and potentially making an expensive mistake I could end up regretting……What would yall do?

Appropriate For Black Tie Wedding Guest?

SOLVED THANK YOU EVERYONE! 🙂

Hi everyone just looking to get some opinions on this dress that I am contemplating purchasing to wear to my cousin's wedding next month in which the invitation states is "Black Tie". I know traditionally this means a gown down to the floor but I was googling around and came across a few reputable sources say that exceptions regarding length can be made for knee-length cocktail gowns if elegant enough. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So of course when in doubt I turn to my trusted fellow Redditors to give it to me straight with their honest opinions so I don't make an idiot of myself or accidentally disrespect the bride and groom's wishes. 🙂

TLDR:

  1. Is the length of dress in photos appropriate for "Black Tie" family wedding, or should I keep looking for something floor length?
  2. Aside from whether or not appropriate, is the style/color/overall look of the dress nice/classy/elegant, or is it flat-out ugly? I just want to know if I'm settling on my choice.

Thank you in advance for your input/feedback. 👗
