issues with umc-22

my friend is having some huge issues with their interface it sounds like it has a discord echo filter on it and i quote “like the 2nd input still works on its own its just in a daw that it doesnt work without input 1”
and they sent some videos and there is so much noise on it anyone got any ideas?

i made this in like 10 weeks im on every instrument and it is me singing the song “get so high” is pretty bad because of the other dude “shouting” in it all he did during the albums process was just annoy me a lot and the album would be better if he wasn’t there lmao BUT let me know what you think
