It was Marshmallow all along..

When I started my perfume journey I thought I was a vanilla girl through and through. I’ve been obsessed with VS bare vanilla for years and that was my go to body mist before I was really into experimenting. After discovering WTF by aspiring aromas, I’ve realised marshmallow was what I needed all along! Funnily enough I’m still yet to discover my dream vanilla perfume. Everything seems to be mixed with florals / woody / spicy / fruity notes. At times I wish I had a more complex palette but marshmallow has my heart! Feels so good to have found a note / perfumes that feel like Me💕

Are there any perfumes you have in your collection for the sake of it?

I bought Britney Spears Fantasy a few months ago as it was a perfume I wanted as a teen but never owned. After sampling, I thought it was rather mid although I’ve heard they’ve changed the formula over the years so that may also be why. Nevertheless it still gives me that nostalgic presence from my adolescent years that I love so I will keep it in my collection and don’t intend to use again. It reminds me of my youth and school days Everything else I intend to use. I wondered if there any perfumes anyone else has just to have with no intention of use in the future.

Best vanilla/marshmallow perfume oils ?

The oils I currently have are Choco musk and what the fluff which are amazing - they project and have decent longevity when paired with their perfumes . I’m wanting oils of a similar nature without floral/ spice/ fruits etc. I have heard Nemat vanilla musk is good but doesn’t have great sillage. Recommendations are welcome please 😌

If a seller ignores your offer on Vinted for an item you’d like would you still look to purchase from them ?

So I’ve made an offer for an indie perfume (under £30) and the seller has ignored my offer which they are entitled to if they believe the offer is too low. My reasoning is because it has been opened and it also travel sized. I’m not desperate for it but it is a scent I’d like to sample especially as it isn’t available in the UK.

I am interested in countering the offer but just the fact it wasn’t acknowledged I found to be a bit rude even if it was just a ‘hey I won’t go lower than x amount”. If this were you would you suck it up and just offer a higher amount or hope that it becomes available from another seller later. it might seem like I’m overthinking but it’s just the principle of communication if that makes sense :)

Is Lattafa Khamrah appropriate to get as a Father’s Day gift ?

I understand Khramah is unisex however, I often see it being purchased by women. I think this is quite a male leaning scent and I know my dad likes perfumes. Is it a safe purchase for a man, this is also quite last minute so need to make a decision asap.

Cupcake perfume Recommendations

Can anyone recommend any cupcake scented perfumes? Leaning towards the buttercream, vanilla type of cake. Please nothing with fruits / spices / florals etc. & No Britney Fantasy please! know** **Mrajia have a fragrance which looks great but shipping to the UK is pricier than the fragrance itself.

What to do if I don’t get ASYE position?

I have completed my final social work placement and now looking for ASYE positions in London however, they seem to be rather limited. Most of my colleagues have also received rejections as there appears to be more applicants than available roles. In the the instance that I am not able to secure a role, what should I consider doing? I understand the ASYE is not compulsory however, as someone who is neurodivergent, it would be hugely beneficial for me. Nonetheless I am open to hearing all ideas. My goals are to work in fostering/ adoption and eventually become an ADHD Assessor.

What influences you to buy a perfume?

Aside from the scent profile and price, is there anything interesting that influences you to purchase a fragrance? For myself, I like perfumes that have cute and quirky names. I also like the exclusivity of purchasing from American indie brands.

Women watching football are pick mes

Do you think women who generally don’t watch football (specifically men’s football) but do when it is the World Cup / euros are pick mes ? Whilst anyone is entitled to watch football, I find it interesting that they’ll suddenly pick up this interest when they otherwise have no interest in the game. Even more so because they’ll follow their partners to games / buy shirts to support despite the fact they don’t like it. I don’t see a male equivalent to this.
