Made a Discord for founders who actually want their idea torn apart before they waste months on it

Been building an accountability tool for founders (Grillr) and a bunch of people from here started asking if there was a place to just throw ideas at each other and get real feedback, not the "this is amazing bro" type comments.

So I made a small Discord for it. There's a "grill my idea" channel where people post their idea and others (including me) rip into it honestly, plus a startup of the week thing to keep people accountable.

Still small so it's not chaotic yet, easy to actually get seen and get real answers.

started a free discord for founders who want honest feedback on their ideas

the main channel is called grill my idea. you drop your concept and real people tell you what they actually think. not ai responses, not cheerleading, just honest reactions from other people who are also building things

we also just started a startup of the week feature where the best idea gets featured in front of the whole community

no gurus, no passive income spam, no courses. just founders at different stages helping each other figure things out

50 members so far, small enough that every post gets a real response

i made finishing your business idea feel like a game and i need to know if it actually works

most accountability apps just remind you to do things. that gets ignored after 3 days because reminders are boring

so i built grillr to work differently. it builds you a real plan with deadlines, but the part i'm not sure about is what happens after. if you miss a deadline you have to write an excuse, and the ai reads it and tells you straight whether it's legit or whether you're just avoiding the work. there's also a streak so you can see momentum building or breaking in real time

110 users now but i genuinely don't know if the excuse mechanic feels motivating or just annoying

if you've used habit trackers or accountability tools before, what actually made you stick with one versus abandon it within a week

looking for some people to help me validate and roast my business ideas

i am so tired of working on startup concepts in a vacuum and asking my family for feedback because they just tell me everything sounds great to be nice. i need real unfiltered opinions from actual builders who will tell me if my monetization model makes no sense or if my target audience is completely wrong.

a few of us started a small discord server to act as a mini mastermind where we roast each others ideas and build out step by step plans with actual weekly deadlines so we stop procrastinating. if you are tired of talking about starting a business and actually want to launch something this year drop a comment below. i can send over an invite link to the dms. no courses no pitching just a group of people holding each other accountable.

im setting up a community to brutally critique side hustles and business ideas

i noticed a massive problem with almost everyone trying to launch a side hustle or startup. we all keep our ideas locked in our notes apps overthinking them for months or we do the exact opposite and waste weeks building something nobody actually wants. to fix this im setting up a free discord community specifically designed to act as an aggressive feedback loop.

the entire goal of the server is to look at raw business models landing pages or execution strategies and brutally point out the blind spots before you waste time or money on them. we are also using it to keep each other strictly accountable to weekly execution deadlines so ideas actually turn into real products. it is completely free and im just trying to find an initial group of active founders builders and side hustlers who want brutal honesty on what they are working on this year. if you want to join the group and get your ideas reviewed or help critique other peoples plans just leave a comment and ill send you the invite link.

Lets exchange feedback!

Hey guys,

Ive been working on a product to help solve a lot of the issues ive been facing within my business/side hustles journey. Essentially every side hustle id start, dropshipping, content, id make sales, id gain thousands of followers, but then i wouldnt know how to continue, what to do next, how to scale, etc. In my dropshipping journey, started great, some days id get 4-6 sales all organically, then 1-3 sales everyday, and eventually one sale a week, then just... nothing.

So im building something to help solve this personal issue i faced from the start. Its essentially an ai mentor, you first send it your idea, it asks you a series of 10-15 questions, and creates a cool mind map full of notes on your business idea, who its meant for, etc. Then with all this information, it goes ahead and does market research for you, goes on sub reddits, online forums, trying to find if people actually want your product or will pay you for what you want to do in the long run, once your idea is validated, it generates a 5-10 phase plan for you, each phase consists of 10-15 tasks, each task comes with a deadline depending on the complexity of the task, some 1 hour, some up to one week. For every task you complete, the ai grades your work, gives feedback, and you can re upload i you wish or just continue moving forward. Essentially the idea is a system for founders who have an idea but dont know either how to start or how to successfully continue.

The main issue i had was the tasks/feedback being too generic, but i implemented a long step by step prompting system to help solve this generic issue and ive gotten some good feedback about the output of the ai.

This is the core concept of the idea, what do you guys think? Would you use something liek this? Or what types of features would you like to see within the website?

few people told me my website doesn't work on android, can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

Dont know if this is the right subreddit to be askign this but im really lost and need help, 've been building a small web app called Grillr and a few users reached out saying it doesn't load or work properly on their android device but i can't reproduce the issue on my end since i only have an iphone

if anyone has 2 minutes to visit grillr . io and let me know what you see on your screen i'd really appreciate it. even just "it loaded fine" is helpful at this point

specifically looking to know: does it load at all, does anything look broken or weird, and if something doesn't work what phone and browser you're using

thanks a lot

i made 10k dropshipping at 17 and then just stopped for no reason

not because it failed. it was literally working. i just stopped

no dramatic reason, no big problem, i just slowly checked out and one day realized i hadnt touched it in 3 months while it was still making money

i know how that sounds. trust me i know

the honest answer is i had no structure. the moment i hit a decision i didnt know how to make i would just... not make it. and then not come back

ive done this with 6 businesses now. same pattern every time. great start, unclear middle, quiet death

currently building something to fix this specific problem. 42 users so far

anyone else done something this stupid or is it just me
