Vintage Camera and Overhead projector

One day when you walk into a pawn shop, you see a very old school camera and an overhead projector sold as a combo. Beside the camera there is a little note said the following.

Instruction

  1. Take a picture of your surronding and a magical foils will appear

  2. use the overhead projector to project the image to a white background

  3. The image will become a portal that you can walkthrough, you can interact with any object captured in the picture.

  4. Any object inside the dimension are timefreezed. Their condition will remain the same unless you bring them to your world. However they still keep the material property (Water is water, air is air)

  5. You can transport anything from and out the portal

  6. As long as the projector is powered, the portal will remain opened. The magical plug the projector come with will adapt to modern day plug.

  7. The camera can take 5 picture before running out of films

Warnings

  1. The camera cannot take picture of living being. For example, If the camera is used to take a passport picture of a human. The final picture will be a white wall.

  2. The dimension is affected by the focal point of the camera. The blurry part is render as a wall inside the portal

  3. The dimension only shows what being captured by the camera. Anything not captured by the camera will not rendered. (E.g. you cannot go in the portal can explore whats behind the camera, if you take a picture of a warehouse from the outside you cannot interact whats in the warehouse as you didn't captured it)

  4. The camera will capture the object as is. A photo remain a photo and a painting remain a painting

How will you use it?
