I had to take my parents to a dentist appointment for a cleaning, and as luck would have it, there's a Rivian showroom only a few miles away. So, I asked them, "Why don't we go check out the new R2?" They said yes, and all of us fell in love with it, and we didn't even take it for a test drive! Rivian said you have to make a reservation for a test drive. The doors are built like a tank! There's SO much legroom, and it's so open and spacious! I can't remember when a vehicle last knocked my socks off! We checked out the Model Y, and it was okay, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. I SO can't wait for my current car to die, so I can get the base trim. I don't need the performance or the premium model.
