Umiami honest thoughts

Would you say Umiami prepares you well for getting into medical school or the pre health field. Do you think it was worth the money along with the college experience?

Wroclaw Dentistry

Hi everyone!
I recently got accepted into the 5-year dentistry program at Wroclaw Medical University, and I’m trying to decide whether I should accept my offer. I’m from New York, so it would be a huge move, and I’m honestly feeling a little nervous.
I’d love to hear from current students or anyone who has studied in Wroclaw. What’s everyday life like as a student? Is the city fun and easy to get around? Is it easy to make friends, especially as an international student? Are there a lot of other international students?
I’m also wondering what people usually do outside of class.
I’d really appreciate any honest opinions—the good and the bad. This is a big decision, and hearing from people who have actually lived there would help me a lot. Thank you

Hi I just wanted to know how umiami actully helps premed students. Do they help with research/ volunteering hours or shadowing for undergrad as thts needed for med school. Please share your experience as this is a big factor for me. Also I heard from some people that there is grade deflation, is this true. Thanks.

I’m currently deciding between UMiami and Clemson and would really appreciate some advice. Clemson is about $10k/year cheaper for me, and I’m planning to major in biology on a pre-med track.

I’m really torn because I want a strong pre-med experience with good opportunities (research, shadowing, etc.), but I also care about having a fun college experience—and I honestly love the city of Miami.

My family is willing to pay the extra $10k/year if it truly means a better program, education, and overall lifestyle, so I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually worth it.

Do you think UMiami is better for pre-med compared to Clemson? And would you say it’s worth the extra cost? Thanks! !!

I’m strongly considering FSU and planning to major in biology on the pre-med track, so I’d love to hear honest opinions. Do you feel like the bio/pre-med program actually prepares you well for med school (like with advising, class rigor, research, shadowing, and clinical opportunities)? Is it easy to find those opportunities or do you really have to go out of your way? Also, how is on-campus housing—are freshman dorms nice/clean, social, and in good locations, and is it hard to get housing after freshman year? And for Greek life, how competitive and expensive is sorority rush, and do you feel like it’s a big part of the social scene or easy to have a good experience without it?

Hi! I’m currently deciding between a few schools, and University of South Carolina is one of my top choices. I’m from the Northeast and would be attending as an out-of-state student, planning to major in biology on a pre-med track.

I wanted to ask students who go—if you could go back, would they still choose UofSC? Why or why not?

I’d really love to hear both the pros and cons of your experience, especially for bio/pre-med (classes, people, nightlight, etc.).

Also, since UofSC and Clemson University would be about the same price for me, how do they compare in your opinion? Do you feel like one is stronger for pre-med or offers better opportunities?

And overall, how has your experience been socially and academically, especially coming from out of state? My other options are Umiami but that ofc is the most expensive.

Any honest input would really help me make my decision. Thank you!!

Hi I’m currently deciding between three schools, and University of Miami is one of my top choices.

I wanted to ask current students—if you could go back, would you still choose UMiami? Why or why not?

I’d really love to hear both the pros and cons of your experience. What are your favorite things, and what are your least favorite? I am also a bio major on the premed track if that helps!

I also want to be honest—UMiami is a bit of a financial stretch for me, so I’m a little worried about not fitting in socially if I’m not spending a lot. Is that something people actually notice, or is it not a big deal?

And how easy is it to get a job on or around campus to help with expenses?

Any honest input would really help me make my decision. Thank you!!

Hi! I’m currently deciding between a couple schools, and Clemson is one of my top choices right now.

I wanted to ask current students—if you could go back, would you still choose Clemson? Why or why not?

I would be an out of state student from the north east and I’d love to hear about your overall experience, including your favorite and least favorite things. Also, does it ever feel boring, or is there usually enough to do socially and on weekends?

Any honest input would really help me make my decision. Thank you!!

Hi! I’m deciding between a few schools, and FSU is one of my top choices.

When I visited, I liked the campus a lot, but I wasn’t super familiar with the surrounding area, so I just wanted to ask—how safe do you feel on and around campus day-to-day?

Are there certain areas/times to be more aware of, or is it generally not something students worry about much?

Would really appreciate honest input from current students. Thank you!
