Cal Grant, SSCG, and CRC

I’m in my 2nd year at CRC and I think this is the first year I qualify for Cal Grant B, which also qualifies me for the Student Success Grant.

I’m asking students here because I’m tired of dealing with the FA office constantly providing me with inconsistent information and misinformation.

I know the deadline for them to submit my GPA and unit qualifications is September 2nd, then the SSCG is calculated. Everywhere I look tells me there’s nothing for me to do, the school automatically does it.

What has been your experience with this particular funding situation positive or negative? I do not like waiting around for others to do things, especially when it comes to money.

Just a gentle reminder of what this sub is for.

While everyone’s voices and opinions are valid and important it is also imperative that we stay focused on our mission to expose the greatest act of treason ever committed on American soil. If we allow ourselves to be distracted by the onslaught of BS happening daily we fall into the problem diagnosis/anti-Trump camp.

The midterms aren’t going to save us, the media isn’t going to save us; however, we ARE going to save ourselves if we stay stronger and smarter than them. Godspeed my fellow American warriors!

Major Jason Watson is an American hero!

If you don’t know who Jason is now is your opportunity to become familiar with him. What he has done is unprecedented and at great risk to his career and his freedom! Active military members are dissuaded from taking the public position he’s taking. He deserves every ounce of support we the people can give him.

If you have not seen this, I suggest you do.

There are multiple ways Elon and his coder bros could have done what they did, but this is the simplest way.

This is also what is demonstrated in real time in Vegas every year at DEF CON.

A tribute to the iconic women that have been bringing joy and laughter into our living rooms for 40 years.

The Golden Girls will forever be my comfort and my happy place. ❤️

“We are forever strong”

10 years ago today 49 beautiful souls were taken and many others were injured both physically and emotionally at Pulse.

NEVER FORGET!

I wanted to post this for you all to remind you that democracy and freedom means different things to different people. While we might all be fighting for the same resolution our causes might not be. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇺🇸

Remember why we have Pride!

11 years ago SCOTUS granted us the landmark decision to marry the person we love. While this decision did not equate to full equality, it did grant us a right that should have never been denied in the first place.

The world feels really dark for our community right now, but we have always fought, we have always taken our seat at the table, every generation stands on solid brave shoulders that came before us.

Happy Pride to my gays, my bi’s, my trans, my queer’s and everyone in-between! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Where are the Democrat AG’s??? How can this country continue to ignore this constitutional crisis!?!?!

The only question that I have is I was under the impression that the NSA audit was debunked? I thought ETA couldn’t verify its validity? Am I missing something?

WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE!?!?!

What is it going to take for someone, anyone, who holds any power in this country to stop ignoring this and DO SOMETHING!?!?! There’s not one retiring politician with nothing left to lose willing to save our country??? It’s beyond infuriating!

I don’t know what more we can do. Tagging politicians, media, writing emails, calling offices isn’t working. I’m not sure what’s left to do.

This is one of my favorite episodes. In part because “Lilly” is played by the iconic Polly Holliday, but also because it depicts real humanity where what we thought was the best of us was taken away. For me, it’s indicative of the basic human things that we take for granted and will never understand the journey of someone whose “basics” are taken away.
