From FL to MPC
i’m spam posting at this point, but coming up with ideas on the MPC is 10x faster than FL (for me). i make 3-4 beats a day on accident.

week 3 and still addicted.
i’ve been making beats for years, mainly on FL Studio. I purchased the Live 2 and thought it was great, but it was too big.
I love being able to pick this up, chop a sample straight from my phone and keep it moving. the workflow on this machine is amazing, but i do wish we didn’t have to “resample” a pad in order to use multiple knob effects.
that being said, this is day 3 of using the mpc sample.
recently got the mpc sample, i’ve been working on finger drumming, but im confused on how i should actually be recording everything. i want to finger drum intro, chorus, verse and outro :)
I recently traded a Red magic astra 12gb ram 256gb storage for a red magic 10 pro with 24gb ram 1tb storage.
few questions:
did i get the better deal?
what’s the best way to manage the heat? i want to stream and game at the same time and noticed it gets extremely hot when doing so.
where can i buy accessories? (cases/matte screen protectors and skins) i couldn’t find them anywhere except temu or other weird sites.
any tips in tricks? i want to use this to stream games from game hub, stream fortnite mobile and other mobile games like critical ops/rainbow 6, destiny.
I want to use this as a content creation device that’s extremely mobile and powerful. i liked the astra, but 12gb seems low, especially with the RAM shortage going on.
This took about 2.5 hours… probably could’ve done this an easier way, but hey! It’s locked in and we are ready to cook!
Hey guys,
I am stuck and need to make a decision on this by today.
I recently bought a Razerblade 15 base model laptop (2020) for $400 and have been offered a trade for a 12gb/256gb silver Red Magic Astra
I can upgrade ram/storage in the Razerblade, but it’s currently 16gb/512gb storage.
A few things I don’t like about the laptop are the size/weight, the fan noise and battery life. i also don’t like how it needs to be plugged in for max performance.
do you guys think this is a good/fair deal? a 2020 laptop is already a bit old and think i’ll have an issue reselling this razer.
I recently purchased a Razerblade 15 base model for $400 on facebook marketplace. it has 95.1% battery capacity and was only used for 6 months. was this worth it?
Hey guys,
I recently purchased an iPad Pro M5 13-inch wifi-cellular 256gb. This was my only device, I had no desktop or laptop At first, i wanted to use the device to create mobile gaming content, and music using Beatmaker 3.
After 14 days, i realized the 13 inch is too big unless i use it on a table. I tried returning it for the 11 inch, but unfortunately missed my return period by 1 day.
i decided to trade the ipad for a 2024 ROG Zephyrus G14 | 16GB RAM, 1TB storage and RTX 4060.
Was this a fair trade, or no?
