Is this wild rabbit sick ?

Went cycling along a canal today. I went past it on my bike and it was nestled between the foliage. It didn't move which is unusual behaviour for a wild rabbit when cycling past it very fast. Around half an hour later, on my way back, I cycled past it again. This time it started hopping as it saw me and then it sat still and closed its eyes! I'm surprised it didn't run away. It was in the same place. It was very small, not sure if it's sick or if it was some sort of defence thing.

First black and white layer

Black and white layer! Very nervous about adding colour! Its my second oil painting! So I'm learning as I'm going along. Once I'm happy, I'll add a thin layer of colour and see ...

Growing up I used to do pencil drawings all the time, which is why I'm comfortable with doing the black and white layer, nervous about adding colour though.

What's up woth my cactus

Parts of it are drying up. I have it under direct light in my attic. Since the beginning of June I've watered it once. It doesn't feel soft.

Are isis, aphrodite, venus and mary basically the same goddess, but different cultural interpretations ?

Was the same goddess passed down different cultures and given different interpretations ?

Can I purchase Casa Vicens Gaudi at the door?

Hello there. Visiting Barcelona during the 2nd week of July with my 65 year old mum. My mum is retiring soon so I'm taking her to Barcelona for holiday.

On a week day I've booked tickets to visit Park Guell. Booked tickets for 12. My mum probably will need breaks to sit down every now and then. So, I'm not sure how long we will spend at the park. I'm planning to enter the park through the entrance at the top, so we walk our way down.

I'm planning to visit Casa Vicens Gaudi after the park. Would I be able to by tickets for Casa Vicens at the door? As I don't know how long I will end up spending at the park ? I understand it's not as busy as the other houses ? Is it possible that all the tickets would be sold out on a week day ?

Thank you 😊

Visited Paris for the second time.

Visited Paris for the second time and had an absolutely wonderful time. This time round I explored places that I hadn't explored the first time. I wondered around the streets and saw beautiful views of the eiffel tower. I climbed up the towers of notre dame and saw stunning views. I explored areas of the louvre other than the Mona Lisa. Unfortunately many of the works I wanted to see at the musee d'Orsay were not on display, which means I need to plan a third visit. Already looking forward to it.

Other places i visited included Napoleons tomb which was very impressive, the Paris aquarium which contains one of the biggest collections of jelly fish in europe, and the pantheon which just took my breath away.

Is it worth visiting the Science museum Barcelona just for the flooded forest

I'm not really that interested in the other stuff in the museum, but would love to see the indoors flooded forest. But not sure if its worth buying tickets just to see the forest!

How big is the forest and how much can you wonder around the forest area ?

Random fascination with Jerusalem

Hey all

I have a random fascination with Jerusalem! In the past I have spent hours looking at those youtube walking tours of Jerusalem. In particular Rachel's tomb and church of the holy sepulchre! Every other week I get a need to watch videos of Jerusalem or of rituals at the church of the holy sepulchre! Just today, while watching tv, I randomly got the urge to watch videos of Rachel's tomb!

I am born into a Sikh Indian family and have absolutely no link to Jerusalem, it's never even come up in conversation at home or within my friends circle. Jerusalem is absolutely irrelevant in my culture.

Every now and then I get a strong passion to go to Jerusalem! And I don't even know why!

I honestly feel like I need to go there once in my life!

Travelling from Paris to Brussels as a British citizen

Hey all

So I'm a British citizen, and I'm travelling to Paris, and from Paris North to Brussels South, via Ouigo train.

I've never travelled from one European country to another before! And I'm using a train.

How does this work in terms of showing my passport? Would I show my passport at Brussels station before they let me out of the station etc ?

I've only ever travelled from London to other countries and straight back. So, I have no idea how it works when travelling from one European country to another via train!

Thank you 😊

Do you think Henry VIII ever loved any of his wives?

I think he may have loved Catherin of Aragon at one point.

Some say he loved Anne Boleyn, but imo that was more about the thrill of the chase, and the belief that she would give him a son. At most it was lust imo ...

What do you guys think ....

Napoleons tomb reservations?

Hey

Visiting Paris very soon, just wondering if reservations are recommend for Napoleons tomb? I'm visiting during the week days. Got some gaps in my itinerary, would love to squeeze in Napoleons tomb, though I haven't decided which day. So was wondering can I just turn up and buy a ticket?

Also, same question for the aquarium near the eiffel tower, with the jellyfish. Can I just turn up on the day and buy a ticket? Aquarium de Paris.

Thank you 😊
