Question

my new puppy and cat are doing very well! she lays on her side and shows her stomach, she comes and sniffs the puppy, she has only hissed and growled a handful of times. i think they are getting well accustomed to each other, but i need to know what else to look out for with my cat to tell when she gets stressed and i need to get the puppy away from her. so what are some signs of stress?

Everyone meet Althea! 9 weeks old

newest addition to the family! she has a sibling with us, a 3yo female cat. they seem intrigued with each other, but the cat is a little territorial. any idea on how to work them together?

Intros

i just got a puppy today! but i dont want it to stress out my cat, she seems very open to her… showing her belly on her side but we did see one aggressive trait show and that was a fluffed up tail. we seperated them for a few minutes then put them back together. and crystal hasnt had a problem with her since then but tonight she refused to eat her treat, is that stress related or is she angry? the last time i had introed a cat and dog they instantly clicked.

Cat scratching

she is trouble haha. were trying to figure out how to get her from trimming her nails on the door frames. weve bought her scratch pads and she uses them, but when it seems she needs her nails filed down a bit she uses the door frames. to me thats not a problem, they can always be fixed and replaced. but its a habit i dont want her to have for her entire life. but shes still young, 3 yrs old, so i do have a little bit of hope that as the years go by she learns not to do it. i believe before we adopted her she was an outdoor cat who was well taken care of but had to use trees to file her nails and thats why shes taken to the wooden door frames. i believe they had to surrender her because the child developed allergies to her because they were adamant she goes to a family that loves her, which we do especially me she is what keeps me happy and sane. google ai has told me to use scents to keep her away such as lemon, grapefruit, and orange. which i can do but i dont want to do anything that is any way possibly harmful for her. i wouldnt be able to live with myself if i was making her life more difficult.

Not very often

not often, maybe once every couple weeks my cat poops on the floor right next to her litter box. sometimes shell do it more than once a week, but there are also times where she goes weeks without doing it. her litter is cleaned every day and completely changed every week.

planning on getting a puppy

i have a 3 yr old cat that i adopted last year but i have no idea if shes been around any other animals and im looking to adopt a young puppy for her to have a friend, shell have another cat friend but our family misses having a dog, when i adopt how should i go about introducing them? the last cat/dog mix i had they got along very well but that was because our first cat had been around others before. how should i go about introducing them? and my cat already has a safe space to go to, she goes to any of the bathroom sinks or my room when she wants to be alone.

we have seen rumors about Sadie being Jean, but im not here to discuss that. Weve seen that if Jean is truly in spider-man her powers will have a VFX. What color would you want it to be. Blue or Pink?

according to the early showing the movie is incredible, ive seen some say it was the best out of the TH spider-man saga. what are your expectations for this movie?? Also i saw that people that have seen it are now confirming Sadie is Jean, which i dont put my full belief in but its now coming out after people have seen the movie. what are your thoughts on that also??
