Stopping Coding Mistakes / Improving Coding Skills

How are you minimising the coding mistakes your agent makes? I've had a bunch of issues recently where my dedicated (specialised language) coding agent is writing code in what feels like intentional with how often it happens. I have code review agents using different models to allow for no biased reports but still seems like they're not getting picked up or the code looks right but throws X error or the logic isn't quite right so it fails. I have unit testing for as much of a project as needed.

Im wondering if there are any plugins/mcps/skills etc that people are using that they feel is going them the best results

Desktop App VS Terminal

Curious to how people are using Claude Code, I prefer to use the terminal as it allows me to have slightly more efficient setup for tmux/tailscale and a few more bits and pieces for my personal workflow. But I use the DTA when working from my company laptop with less customisation as I dont need it as much there.

Remote Control w/ Lean-ctx and headroom proxies

My current CC setup uses Lean-ctx and headroom proxies chained together for token optimisation, I wanted to use the remote control feature of CC but because the anthropic_base_url is set to the proxy this stops CC from being able to use RC. Has anyone found a way around this? ive tried asking CC and its not come up with anything. or if theres an alternative (not telegram its awful).

Staying Upto Date with AI News/Models/Skills etc.

Pretty much as the title says, im looking for ways to stay updated on the forever moving AI world. I follow subreddits around it but feel that sometimes its behind the curve on being the most upto date. I used to use X but its such a toxic sh*tshow that I left. I subbed to a couple of newsletters that can be useful from time to time but are mostly just very high high level quick fire articles. Im just trying to keep up

XML tags in Prompts

Im currently doing some AI courses and im seeing a large number mention using XML tags in large prompts to lower the chance of models misunderstanding different part of the prompt. Is this something people are actively using? have you really noticed much difference in models effectively understanding prompts?

Menu Bar Loading Time

Has anyone else noticed an issue with the menubar when logging in and it taking an age to fully load? or taking forever to register clicking something in it? seemed fine in DB2 but DB3 seems to have killed it.

Project Improvements

Ive been using AI to help me build projects for over a year, and one thing ive always found difficult is having it look over a project and make suggestions on improvement, Not necessarily new features but improving features that already exist without me having to give it what I want improving, Im looking for ways to have AI scan a project and suggest ways of improving current features - I have tried just asking it to scan a project directory and suggest improvements on the current state but It always seems to go off on suggesting new features rather then improving current ones. Curious on how everyone else does it or if people even do that at all and just give improvements from their own use or feedback from others to have improvements made.

Multiple Sessions On The Same Repo

Has anyone been able to reliably have multiple sessions working on the same project repo without having to tell each session what the other is doing? I tried using the 'Claude Peers' setup a while back but it always broke or never sent the right message. I know claude agents is a thing but if I remember rightly it was good for monitoring multiple agents rather then them communicating between. I tried to use a md file to have them update and read to passover what each was doing/had done but 1. it burnt loads of tokens and 2. they never really read it and took on board what was written.
