tiktok.comI found a way to catch the Hooked Dragonite by changing MapScriptPointer
originally had this idea after messing with the Rocket Grunt and item 9F. found out thag changing Mapscriptpointer allowed the battle to unlock. so I decided to try it on the Dragonite and it WORKED. you just need Item Underflow.
Either a breakout, or we called something other than an FF
youtu.beIn Pokémon Red/Blue, after delivering the parcel, if you beat your rival on route 22 without ever obtaining or evolving a Pokémon, Professor Oak will give you 5 Pokeballs upon returning to his lab.
There’s even an error here, where they wrote an extra Line instead of a Continue for the dialogue.
I play this game for hours daily and I only recently heard about this.
Not my typical type of post, but I got a hatchable good egg from Pomeg Berry corruptions randomly.
Going on a Joyride
using a seatbelt worked surprisingly well, actually.
I had the weirdest dream today.
I kinda wanna make a ROM of this where the only thing different is that you can change your player sprite from 1-5 generations.
(Pokémon Blue) Instant Encounter caused by prolonging Snorlax using D35E/D35F (Via item underflow) in par with 9F 3 times while in front of an unbattled trainer.
I’m just gonna copy paste the explanation for it that I wrote here: So modifying D36E and D36F can sometimes make the game act fine, but some types of battles don’t start. (You can change the bits of D36E and DE6F with item underflow of course). If you go to a place that has a Snorlax outside, I used the one south of lavender) you can prolong the actual encounter if you change D36E/D36F to an item that turns off the battles. After doing this, if you use the Poke flute on the tile beside Snorlax, the sound will play, but the dialogue for waking it up won’t continue, and no battle will happen. If we change D36E/D36F back to its normal value, the snorlax dialoge pops up, and you get in the battle with a snorlax, as long as you’re on the same route. Getting in front of an unbattled trainer, then fixing D36E/F to be back to normal, forces the Snorlax battle first. Now, in battle, you have to use the glitch item “9F” to reset the battle, causing the dialogue for snorlax “going back to the mountains” that happens after the battle is done to appear, then Snorlax battle happens again because that’s just what happens with 9F+instant encounter battle is done. If you click 9F one more time, the unbattled trainers “!” Bubble will pop up. In the Items Menu, This causes the battle to reset and give us another snorlax. But this time something’s different. If you are in front of the trainer face to face, in this 3rd snorlax battle, you won’t be able to move your curser, and you can only click A and B. If you are 1 or more tiles away from the trainer but still in their line of sight, the 3rd snorlax battle locks up entirely, and you can’t click anything to start the battle. If you get the A button one, you can defeat the Snorlax. After you defeat it, the fisherman battler will talk to you, then BOOM. Instant encounter starts, and the Pokémon that appears is based on the 3rd Snorlax’s special stat.
