Oldboy Movie Ending (my thoughts)

>!The movie actually ended with him forgetting everything through hypnosis and her not finding the truth. But when I watched it for the first time, there's a scene as shown in the image where she calls him Ah-jussi(translated to Mister) and says Saranghae(translated to I love you) after hugging him. I was actually expecting her to call him Appa(translated to Dad in Korean) instead of Ahjhussi so that we could have one more twist in the end. But it didn't turn out like that. I wonder what would it be like if that happened. And the smile on his face is a bit ambiguous cuz idk if he actually forgot everything through hypnosis. It leaves a bit of room for the audience to wonder abt the ending. !<

Are the cognitive abilities of the characters in Death Note realistic?

I'm talking abt Light, L and L's successors. The mangaka/the author of the story really put so much thought and effort in creating these characters. But just wanted to know how much of this could be real. And when I first watched it, I was genuinely convinced L must be really smart cuz he's thin(expends most of his energy thinking and craves sweets) and I know that brain takes up almost 20% of the energy produced by the food. So I thought it's like that cuz of his cognitive abilities and expending energy on deductions and stuff. Idk much abt Light though. He just seemed like an arrogant and dramatic high-schooler who gets good grades and kinda like a prodigy among his peers.
