Rig setup (please help)

Finally making the switch to a direct drive wheel. but one issue i have is i don’t know how to mount the alpha evo onto an aluminum rig. i prefer not to mount it the same way on the plate as my thrustmaster because it’s bit to far for me when i’m not drifting. I’ve been looking into just getting the side mounts and a 4080 x 500 aluminum for the cross bar. aswell as looking into the TR-One v3 but don’t know if that’ll work. if anyone could help and provide some input that would be great!

Ordering Process
Super easy. I always try to find someone who lays out everything on their website and makes it easy. His catalog is great. I ended up scrolling for a long time and picking out a lot, then dwindling the list to 2 pairs. Found the 2 I liked and ended up going through WhatsApp. His communication has to be his selling point. It was insanely easy to tell him what I wanted and my prescription.

Total Length of Process
Order: Jun 11
QC: Jun 19
Tracking #: Jun 21
Arrived: Jul 2
Total: 21 days

In Hand
Love em. They work—that’s kinda what I cared about. The price I can justify because I’m wearing them for some time. They look pretty solid to me.
They both came with a case and a microfiber. The Chrome Hearts pair came with an extra big one (idk what it’s for, prob cleaning).
The Chrome Hearts pair are more for wearing out, and I have the daily’s for whenever I need them.
All in all, solid process out of ZoZo. Family already ordered a pair.

Cons
Not really much. Could’ve had some more QC photos, but I didn’t ask.

QC photos from him are the first , he sent those also w/ the uv to show the transition so 4 photos total. rest of photos are in hand

My dividend portfolio

new to investing in dividend but understand the importance of it and want to grow and account over time. currently DCA into all these with 50$ a week. will eventually bump that up once i can.

background- 24 first year IT
this acc has about 2k in it. want to take more serious though. compared to other accounts

have multiple accounts including 401k , roth, dividend, random fun acc

do these look good for the next 20-30 years? should i look into other options to add and or get rid of?

What was the first time you sat a study like?

i’m one of those guys that it’s hard to sit down and begin studying, especially for something like this I was told by my boss that this could help me future my career and that I should look into getting the ccna. my problem is, I’m not sure how to begin. I don’t know how to sit down and start studying. I don’t know where to start. I don’t know if I should buy stuff and look over things before I start to really study so I wanna know what was it like when you first sat down and tried to study for the ccna and what did you have? What did you look at prior? what did you know prior?

Pretty proud of this one

Little background. My dad was a pilot for the air force and only plays X-Plane12 and Microsoft flight sim. I’ve always seen him flying a plane when i was younger, always on a simulator flying his favorite 787-800 or c-130. Since covid he got really into it (probably since he’s retired) and built a great setup but the biggest thing holding him was the graphic. he always wanted top ultra graphics and to run at the best settings. Back during covid he had the chance to get a 3080ti which held him for the time being. We scavenged for that card and would be refreshing new egg all day until something would drop. We always talk about getting a ##90 series gpu one day since the 3090 came out but it finally happened.

Last week i told him it’s time for a big upgrade and thanks for everything. so we went down to micro-center and i picked him out to an insane computer for flight sim. all those years running MFS24 at 10fps and xPlanes at 7fps are done. After some saving and some great gambling sessions(thank you spanish 21). i built him it. took a good bit of time to save for and build but couldn’t be happier to see him play his game at the best possible settings. Without him teaching me everything i know about computers and electronics i wouldn’t be doing what i do.

main PC Specs
Asus 5090 ROG Astral White
Ryzen 9 9950x3d
Gigabyte x870e
G.Skill x5 32gb ddr5

ps- will be getting him white ram eventually. it came w the bundle.
