Low blood pressure …?

I just started 150mg XL 4 days ago and I keep getting dips in my blood pressure. I have dysautonomia and my heart usually races, but I take propranolol which helps. But it doesn’t lower it this much. I had a reading of 87/62. I don’t feel dizzy or like I’ll faint. I just get nauseous and my heart is pounding in my chest. I really wanted this med to work because my Zoloft has been giving me lack of energy and sexual dysfunction. I don’t know what to do I feel really hopeless. Did anyone else have this? I’m so confused because Wellbutrin is supposed to raise it.

I feel nothing..?

I’m kind of surprised because it seems most people had a totally different experience but I’m really confused. I take 125mg of Zoloft and 20mg of propranolol alongside it. 3 days ago I started 150mg XL of wellbutrin. Now I’m super confused because my heart is already a bit sensitive and so is my entire nervous system due to dysautonomia. I was worried it would be super activating or maybe give me a lot of energy. but I’ve actually felt the opposite… I’ve been switching from super emotional to chill and carefree. I don’t feel any other changes. sometimes when I lay down at night my heart starts to pound and race and it’s hard for me to sleep so I have to take the propranolol but that’s it. I don’t feel happier, anxious, energized, or even jittery. I’m just kind of feeling nothing. I started it because of my sexual side affects from Zoloft and for my depression. but it hasn’t helped either. I know it’s only day 3 but I just feel a bit worried because i haven’t found another person who experienced this.

Heat immediately exhausts me

It’s so weird, one minute I’m totally fine and have energy, and if I sit in anything above 80° I’m so tired and don’t even have the energy to speak. It lasts for the rest of the day even when I cool down. Really frustrating. Does anyone know why this happens?

What time do you guys take your Zoloft?

I’ve been on Zoloft for about 5 months now, and I’ve switched back and forth from day to night dosage timing and honestly idfk which to do and I’ve increased my dose many times since then. What do you guys do? I take it in the morning right now, but I notice within 30 minutes I feel so tired and groggy. It takes hours to pass.

Nauseated by smells

Does anyone else have extreme smell sensitivity? I get it with a lot of things, hearing sensitivity as well, but smell is way worse for me. specifically food. I never had this issue in the past but now every time I smell ANY kind of food I gag. It’s so nauseating. anyone else have this and can it be correlated with POTS?

Negative tilt table

I’m honestly really disappointed. I have every single symptom of POTS and have been struggling for 2 years now. I finally got a tilt table for a diagnosis. I was very very anxious before hand and also had been changing SSRI dosage so I was very anxious the entire time. It made my BP and resting heart rate much higher than normal. around 115. It’s usually like 90. and then I did the test and my heart rate went up to 165. I was so sick. Then I waited a week for my results and they say it’s probably inappropriate sinus tachycardia. Well let me just tell you it’s not. It’s only ever postural related. If I stand it spikes and if I sit it drops. I could do it for hours and it would happen every single time. I have blood pooling in my legs, I get cold extremities, I’m exhausted all the time, I can’t exercise, I get awful migraines, palpitations, flushing, GI issues, dizziness and loss of balance, etc. I feel incredibly defeated. I feel like no one truly believes me and I’m so tired of fighting.

I’m so scared for my tilt table.

I’m 21, and have been dealing with POTS for about 2 years now. it started when I began noticing my heart rate being super duper high and being unable to stand or work my job. I saw my doctor about it and they put me on propranolol before even testing me. Then it didn’t get better and they referred me to a cardiologist. They did a poor man’s tilt table and said my heart rate didn’t spike enough for a diagnosis. that was because they only had me lay down for like 30 seconds. and I was very anxious being there so my heart rate wasn’t fully at its resting rate. I went back to my doctor and asked for a different cardiologist. She sent me to another who said they truly don’t know anything about POTS and I said please what can I do for a diagnosis. I have every. single. symptom. My resting is 80 and when I stand it’s 150 in less than 30 seconds. I have blood pooling, temperature problems, digestive issues, dizziness, weakness, palpitations, all of it. I just want to know what my diagnosis is. so he said a tilt table. I have it tomorrow and i genuinely didn’t think much of it until I began researching. And now I am terrified. people say they have passed out, threw up, their heart stopped, and that it’s inhumane. and even after all of that they didn’t get diagnosed. this entire time my doctors have made me feel small and incompetent.I am so so scared.

Dreams

Does anyone else get frequent dreams about throw up? Like it’s never ME throwing up, it’s just in the places that i have the most trauma from. Pretty much every other night i have a dream about either my old elementary school, a HUGE dark bathroom, or an old friend. And there is just throw up everywhere. And i try not to step on it or touch it. Especially the elementary school, it’s like it’s everywhere and im so stressed out. I’ve also had a dream where i am stuck in the backseat of a car and kids start coming in and touching my face and coughing on me and I can’t get away. Unfortunately it’s all related to my fears and my past experiences but it’s gotten to the point that the dreams don’t even bother me anymore because they are so frequent and I’ve had them for years. Anyone else? I’d like to hear your experience!
