My right hand

Now that u/Girl-a-Whirl is mostly done (loved it all!!!!!) I’ll post my pic! I bought the ring from a creator in Toulouse (18k, tourmalines, diamonds, also a bunch of wee sapphires on a different angle), and a 14k vintage slide bracelet that may or may not be from the 1940s.

Slide Bracelet

I’m in love with this bracelet! The information I got was that it’s from the 1940s, American, 14k. I love every charm! From the clasp: enamel frog, little purple flower, coral cabochon, grapes, aquamarine(?), three little diamonds, amethyst, leaf and ladybug, cameo, a spider, snake wrapped around amethyst, heart with a rose with emerald (?).

This ring is my intrusive thought

I’ve been looking at the ring online. Today I went to the store and tried it on. It fits perfectly. It’s giant. I love it. That frog. It’s expensive. It’s useless. But I will die someday. Make me stop thinking about it!

Help with color

Hi! My stylist kind of went rogue on color. The second pic is my current color. The third pic is my natural color. The first pic is AI generated color options. What looks best? Feel free to tell me if I should go for a different cut, too. Thank you!

50 years old, no debts, 5 million. I can quit, right?

I own my home, healthcare is covered, kids tuition is not an issue. Fixed expenses seem to run around 5k/month - might decrease a bit when the kids move out. I’m mostly invested in broad market index funds. I want to be able to do a bit of traveling (business class rather than backpacking). I’m the primary breadwinner - my husband works but it would only cover ~1/3 of our monthly expenses. I think I can stop working but it makes my spouse nervous. Any risks?

For example, when women were asked this about men, there was a whole thread about how noisy men are. What are women doing that men notice that women are not self aware about?
