I have been on PS ecosystem and consoles for 20+ years. Not cuz I couldn't afford PC but cuz it was more convenient and I have a hobby of collecting discs and collector edition boxes etc. I spent way more on PlayStation/console gaming these 20 years than I would have ever done if I had a PC from start.

I am shifting to PC right this moment. Sold my PS5 last week since I have zero interest in GTA6 anyway so idc if it won't be on PC. I bought that PS5 in 2021 for $500 and sold it for $600 to a dude who wants to play GTA6. No regrets, I made a profit overall lol. And I also didnt like a single game PlayStation has put out this generation. All of them have been a downgrade compared to its PS4 lineup so I was looking to sell it anyway.

After Sony's decision last week to kill physical media that solidified my decision to finally sell it. If I am being forced to play digital only and have no other option of buying a disc, I might as well play digital only on a more consumer friendly platform like Steam, GOG, etc. Also I like a lot of Indie games that are only available on PC.

So any suggestions where I should start the PC journey?

No gameplay trailer
No disc
No 100% game at full price($80)
No GTA online included

Yet people are lining up to preorder this as if the digital copies will run out. Gamers are the problem. They allow such atrocious anti consumer behaviour then cry when it becomes the industry norm.

I am a collector. Played every game on physical since I was a kid. Have a shelf full of discs. But majority of gamers decided to support companies that want this medium dead completely and have a monopoly over game prices and resale. YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM

So I am watching One Piece for the first time ever.

Man...why did no one warn me about Episode 85 & 86. I am a grown ass man crying, literally bawling my eyes out watching Chopper's backstory at the middle of the night. My roommates were scared what happened. Wtf bro this gotta be one of the most gut wrenching backstory in all of anime. I never cry but it made me cry
