Working on the RS300 tonight

This is my latest attachment for my homemade RC skid steer. Ihave the geometry and physics down for the most part on this beast, but I’m still changing the design. The piece of lexan is not final, it’s just so I can make a template before I cut it out of steel.

Fabricating the tilt function on the Kubota

Still gotta install the servo, and spring, but it’s coming together. Converting a toy skid steer to radio control isn’t easy, but I guess that’s why I built my other one😂

Spreadin some gravel

It’s crazy that I go from spreading gravel with a skid steer at work to spreading gravel with my very own custom RC skid steer. I absolutely love my life. #ForeverBlueCollar
I’ll get some video footage of it running once I get a tripod or some type of phone holder😂

Would the Scx30 be a good chassis for this build?

I’m gonna build a scale version of my Dad’s truck in real life. I want the chassis to fit under it like a stock looking truck. I still have to buy the bed. I am mostly concerned about the width and the space in the fender wells. I don’t want the tires to stick out past the body. I am ok with lengthening the frame and installing axle extensions if needed to get the tires flush with the body.

How do you guys feel about the FMS FSC24 Baja truck?

I’m looking to buy one. Let me know if y’all have had problems, is it worth the price, etc.

Is the Scx30 worth it?

I gotta a ton of RC trucks and they’re all customized because I can’t leave anything alone. I’m looking at getting a new mini crawler, I’m torn between this and an fcx24. How do you guys like your scx30’s?

Furitek Micro Komodo Beast!

This is my custom 1/24th scale rig, its an Element Enduro24 that i stretched the frame, installed an scx24 transmission, aluminum scx24 driveshafts, custom body that i made, and a Furitek Micro Komodo Brushless system running on 2s. I love the slow crawl, and the speed when you need it.

These are some of my custom RC trail trucks, let me know what you think.

All of these trucks have been heavily customized by me to the point where they don't even resemble their factory look. Let me know which one is your favorite!

Build pictures of Version 1 "Unknown Name" Skid Loader

These are some of the original pictures of the construction of the Skid Loader. The shell of this machine is constructed out of 28 gauge steel sheeting, I work at a Post Frame building company so i am very familiar with this material. Powering this machine is four 360 degree High Torque Steel Gear servos, and one 180 degree High Torque servo for the lift arms. It now runs on 3s lipo, and a 12v to 6v BEC. The transmitter system is a Radiolink T8S with an R8EF receiver. The attachment plate system will be discussed in a following post. This machine has changed many times over the years, and had improved in every way. I will have following posts of its progression and upgrades.

What do you guys want to see first? Might be a giveaway somewhere down the road.

Ok guys, on my last post I asked everyone what the next attachment for the Rc skid loader should be, and so now we’re doing a poll to see which one will get built first, and possibly given away.

What attachment should i build for this skid loader next? I've built a bucket, forks, and an auger. I'm thinking something useful.
