I just started taking pictures at hc concerts, my kit is a canon 60d with a 10 20mm f4 and a godox tt685, I haven't taken flash pictures at concerts yet so the question is: how useful is a flash diffuser? I'm someone who plays a lot with editing and color. I really like Kevoscope as a photographer, who attended Hellfest this year, and I'd love to see how he manages to achieve that light. I'm afraid I'll mess up the flash, so I'm asking for advice...

Help about photography

Yeah, this isn't a photography subreddit, but I need advice from you guys. How much flash is needed for concert photography? I'm a newbie who needs to save money. I could buy one, but I'd rather not. This weekend I'm shooting at a festival that has two stages, a garden stage and an indoor stage. Do I absolutely have to buy one?

will there be a trilogy bundle?

Since they're deciding to remove the physical versions, I wonder if we'll have time to get the remake trilogy bundle, otherwise I'll buy the revelation disk on day one...

Sgramzzzz

Everyone says that fry is the best technique currently to replicate the skramz sound which generally didn't use a real technique, but it seems a little too aggressive as a technique, does anyone have any advice?

I'm pretty sure it's not a vocal technique (high volume)

I've been practicing until recently so as not to hurt myself... but with completely incorrect technique. Now I naturally do it this way, but compared to the fry vocals I hear, my sound is definitely more "restrained," so I don't think it's a technique. Does anyone have any advice on how to do it properly?

Which is a good tutorial?

So, I've been searching the internet for quite a while for tutorials on fry vocals and false chords, and genuinely there are dozens of them so I wouldn't know which one to choose, but searching I haven't found ANYTHING about vocal techniques related to skramz, emoviolence, or sasscore (not that I expected many results for the last one). Tips for good tutorials?

Stuck on fry scream for months (metalcore/deathcore). Feeding audio to an AI for feedback because I'm lost. Anyone else been here?

I've been practicing fry vocals for a few months now, focusing on deathcore, early 2000s metalcore (SxE), and skramz. Honestly, I feel like I've hit a complete wall and haven't made any real progress.

I know the throat positions and physical feedback by heart, but a friend of mine recently told me my foundation sounds completely wrong. Since I don't have a vocal coach, I've actually resorted to sending my raw audio attempts (vowels, basic rumbles) to an AI to get technical feedback on my distortion and breath support. I know it sounds weird, but I couldn't think of any other way to get an objective analysis of my audio.

Has anyone ever been in a similar situation where they felt completely stuck? How did you break through? Any advice on how to transition a safe, compressed "buzz" into a proper scream with actual volume and body would be massive. Thanks!

PLEASE help me

Been a fan of this sound forever and I'm planning to archive the early 2000s underground scene (hardcore/emo/skramz/metalcore/violence....). I've been using MySpace archives and a few other sites like discog, but I'd love to get some help from the old-school heads. Looking for the most obscure bands possible, local scene lore, some of the main venue and scans of old flyers or rare merch. Any tips on where to look?
