I am so sick of Windows. I finally want to switch, and I know how good Linux has become for gaming, especially with Projects like Vine and Proton. What I am interested in now is what important games/programs will definitely not work on Linux?

Also which Distros would you guys recommend?

Any tipps appreciated.

Zwischen Wien West und Linz der einzige 2 gleisige Abschnitt. Klar die Railjets, ICEs, ICs und Güterzüge in Richtung Hbf fahren da natürlich nicht entlang aber die Züge der Westbahn sind immer gut gefüllt und mit den zusätzlichen S50 Cityjets, CJX und REX Zügen ist der Bahnhof Penzing schon gut ausgelastet und kleine Verspätungen werden schnell zu 10 Minuten da dem Fernverkehr immer Vorrang gegeben wird. Zusätzlich wird die Verbindungsbahn jetzt ausgebaut und am Westbahnhof ist generell unterausgelastet und für viele WienerInnen aus dem Westen und Norden wesentlich besser erreichbar als Meidling oder der Hbf und somit auch in der Zukunft für den Fernverkehr attraktiv. Die Westbahn jedenfalls wir ihr Angebot über die nächsten Jahre sicherlich verdichten.

3 weeks ago I switched from Windows to Mac and so far the experience with Proton Drive on Mac has been nothing but utterly disappointing.

Before recent Speed Updates people have been complaining about the state of Proton Drive for as long as I can remember but I always saw this differently because on Windows what was there worked well. The Sync only had issues very seldomly and the UI & UX was good. The App integrated well into Windows and after the initial setup period the sync worked without any Issues for me for Months.

Now to Mac. The UI/UX is shit and the features are missing. Instead of a fully fledged App you only get a small popup that opens from the top Menu bar, which btw doesn't work half of the time or only opens with a delay of multiple seconds. Features like Syncing individual Folders and selecting the location of Proton Drive are completely missing, same goes for shared folders and anything with Photos. The entire thing feels like a Beta Release.

And the worst part? The sync doesn't work at all. It repeatedly gets stuck on errors and sometimes doesn't download anything for hours. I have about 300 Gigs in my Proton Cloud, and currently my Mac uses up 230, but Applications, Mac OS and System Data make up 200 Gigs, meaning in 3 Weeks Proton Drive has only downloaded about 30 Gigabytes! I have important Documents and Git Projects that I need and I can't work under these conditions. Now Finder actually has a download Button allowing you to directly download a specific folder/file and that would be a nice feature if it actually do anything because right now it doesn't

Seriously, the Mac Version is in such a lackluster state, maybe Proton should consider fixing that before even making a Linux client.

Really fucking annoying cause I spent a lot of time placing these in a way that makes sense. I finished the game already and now I come back for the 1.2 update with this? Really disappointing.
