Should a man be completely honest with his partner about his past, or is it better to keep some things private?

I had this question in my mind for a long time. Does this matter to girls that their husband should tell them about their past relationship.

I'm not married yet, but I had a past relationship that did not lasted even 1 year and it was not something physically. Most of the communication was in phone and some meetups on public places and restaurants.

Now, I want to know when I will be getting married, should I tell my partner before marriage? After marriage, or completely hide it and never discuss this?

What's the right thing to do?

Also from Girls, how they think when their partner tells them about their past honestly? Do they make it a life long issue?

Wanna Give This Subreddit a Try, but I’m Kinda Scared

I really want to post my profile here, but I’m testing the waters a little before actually doing it.

For those of you who’ve been here for a while, especially guys, what has your experience been like?

Has this community actually helped you find someone compatible or even your life partner? How are people here in general? Are they respectful and genuinely interested in finding something serious?

What percentage of people here would you say are actually serious about finding a partner?

And if you’ve met your spouse or someone you genuinely connected with through this subreddit, I’d love to hear your story.

On the other hand, if you’ve had a bad experience—scams, fake profiles, ghosting, dishonesty, or any other red flags—please share that too. It would be helpful to know what to watch out for before posting my own profile.

Basically, I want to know: is it worth giving this subreddit a shot?

Feminism or Exploitation? The Erosion of Men’s Rights

I know this is a controversial topic, but let's understand the other side of the story calmly, please don't start giving me hate in comments without reading 🙏

Feminism in its basic definition means: Women and men should have equal rights.

I actually respect Feminist until they are transparent and not exploiting others rights. But these girls should know that they need to respect others views too.

Nowadays women have started thinking that a man should accept their all ridiculous twisted feminist thoughts as a basic commen sense.

Here is a story of a friend who got married to this girl:

He got to know after marriage that his girl doesn't want a child and wants to live a child free marriage.

He said that his wife is also not interested in love and intimacy.

He said that she also doesn't bother to inform when she is out with her friends and she says that she is not answerable to him and these are basic women's rights.

He is totally helpless and said that why didn't she tell me before the marriage about her thoughts.

I would say that being a feminist is fine, but at least the feminist girls should discuss openly about their views before marriage because it can hurt someone badly. Thinking that your twisted feminist thoughts are basic rights is not justified.

Post Edited part: I am getting a lot of hate upon my post, even though I clearly mentioned I respect everyone's view.

I can't reply to everyone. So here is my response:

I posted it here to save other boys lives. The feminism was brought in the discussion so that the boy should not get easy when the know my girl is just feminist, feminism definition is different for person to person, make sure to dig deep to know her views completely before getting married.

One feminist will say it's a woman's right to have a child and others will say that it's a woman's right to live a child's free life.

A girl said that it's so simple divorce her and move on, I want to ask you guys, that is it really so simple when you spend 1 cr on marriage, all your friends and family members are happy and after that just divorce and move on?

Tired of the 9–5, Thinking of starting something of my own, need ideas.

So, I work in IT and I'm fortunate to be earning a decent salary. But as they say, "dil maange aur." I want to build something of my own instead of relying solely on a job.

One of the biggest reasons is that I don't want to constantly worry about layoffs or deal with office politics. I'd rather put my time and energy into building something that I own.

Over the past year, I've managed to save around PKR 2 million from my salary. Instead of letting that money sit idle, I'd like to start something that can get into a full fledge income stream.

Need ideas 💡

She made me believe in forever, then disappeared like I never existed

Sometimes I keep asking myself one question: How can someone make so many promises and then leave as if none of it ever happened?

About a year ago, around this time, I met a girl from Lahore while playing an online game.

She knocked me in a match, and I jokingly asked her to knock me again. She did, and made fun of me for losing twice. The next day I found her in another random room, challenged her again, and this time I won. She appreciated me, we talked for a while after the match, and that's how everything started.

Over the next couple of months we became really good friends. We played games almost every day, listened to songs together, watched movies, and spent hours talking. Slowly, she became a part of my daily routine.

One day she gave me her number and asked me to message her on WhatsApp. She even joked, "Larkay khud number mangtay hain aur tum se mujhay khud kehna par raha hai." That still makes me smile whenever I remember it.

She had such a fun and childish personality. I'm a quiet and introverted person, but she could make me laugh even when I was having the worst day. I genuinely loved spending time with her.

Then one day something funny happened.

We both happened to be in the same mall at the same time. I had never seen her before, not even in a picture. She had seen mine though. She came up to me and asked for help. I helped her without realizing it was actually her. Later she told me it was her, and that became our first meeting.

After that, everything changed.

Our friendship slowly turned into love. We started exchanging gifts, talking about our future, making plans, and making promises to each other. She wasn't the only one making promises—I made them too. I believed every word because I meant every word I said.

This was my first relationship, and from the beginning I never wanted to waste time. My intention was marriage.

I introduced her to my mother and my family. Convincing my family wasn't easy because of the difference in our family backgrounds, but eventually everyone agreed and accepted her.

Then it was her turn to talk to her family.

She asked me to give her some more time, so I did.

Around two months later, I asked her again.

That's when she told me she didn't have feelings for me anymore.

I honestly didn't know how to react.

I reminded her about all the messages where she talked about our future, called me "babu," and made so many promises. She simply said those chats had been deleted from her phone.

I kept asking, "If you didn't love me, then why did you say all those things? Why make all those promises?"

Her answer to almost everything was just...

"Pata nahi."

Or...

"Hmm."

That broke me.

For the next three months I kept trying to understand what had happened. I asked if I had made any mistakes. I told her if something was wrong with me, I'd work on it. I was ready to fix anything if it meant saving the relationship.

Nothing worked.

One day I asked her, "Tell me honestly, what kind of person am I?"

She replied,

"Tum bohat achay insan ho. Ehsaas karnay walay ho, khayal rakhnay walay ho. Tumhari mama ne bohat achi tarbiyat ki hai."

Then I asked,

"If I'm such a good person... then why did you leave?"

Again...

"Pata nahi."

That was all I ever got.

After trying for three months, I finally gave up.

And I still don't understand what happened.

This experience changed me a lot. I find it hard to trust people now. Whenever I think about marriage, I can't stop thinking, "What if the next person also makes promises they never intend to keep?"

And before anyone says she left me because she found someone richer or more successful—I honestly don't think that's the reason. At that time I had a good white-collar job, earned well, owned my own house, and my family was financially better off than hers. In fact, convincing my own family to accept the relationship was one of the hardest parts.

I'm not writing this because I hate her or because I expect anyone to take my side.

I just genuinely want to understand...

How can someone promise forever, make you believe every word, and then walk away one day without even knowing why?

Secret of Lahore

I have seen many rich people in this city called Lahore. Most of the people have luxury cars and houses and live a lavish life. Even though young girls are driving super luxury cars.

Is there something hidden? I want to know how to get rich quickly. I know this city has a lot of potential but I think there are some secrets to reach that point.

At the start when I came to Lahore I started earning 20k pkr but now I get 200k pkr after tax take home income. But now I believe there is a lot more potential, this city has the potential to give you 50 lakhs per month.

Tell me if anyone knows the hidden truth.
