The Sonos Era 100 SL at $169 seems like a really good pick right now, especially for people who don’t care about Alexa or built-in mics.

Right now both are on sale — inReach Mini 2 for $249 and the newer Messenger Plus for $299. From what I can tell, the Messenger Plus adds voice/photo messaging and seems more modern overall, but the Mini 2 still looks like the go-to option for a lot of people.
Is the Messenger Plus worth the extra $50 or is the Mini 2 still the better buy?
