Major cheat code for life: Realizing your mood doesn't have to decide your day
Should I try to renegotiate after already agreeing to $3/hour?

Hi everyone,
I recently passed the interview process for a remote role and was asked during the interview if I was okay with a rate of $3/hour. At the time, I said yes because I was focused on moving forward in the application process.
To be completely honest, this is the first time I've ever made it to the final interview stage for a VA role. I had been applying for VA positions for a while, so when I finally got this far, I was excited and probably a bit desperate not to lose the opportunity. Because of that, I accepted the rate without really thinking about whether I should negotiate.
After the interview, I started thinking about it more and realised I may have sold myself short.
For context, I have around 7 years of BPO experience, including 3 years in voice healthcare account and 4 years in non-voice role. I didn't bring up my experience when discussing compensation, and I didn't attempt to negotiate a higher rate.
I've already moved on to the next stage and am currently completing the requirements they asked for.
My questions are:
• Would it be unprofessional to bring up compensation again after already agreeing to the rate?
• Should I wait until a formal offer or client matching stage before discussing a higher rate?
• Or should I proceed with the agreed rate and revisit compensation after gaining experience in the role?
I'm grateful for the opportunity and don't want to come across as difficult. At the same time, part of me wonders if I should have at least negotiated based on my experience.
I'd appreciate advice from anyone. Thank you.
while all of AI twitter is arguing about Fable 5.1 vs GPT-6 Astra, 95% of people out in public don't know either one exists.
How are you guys vibecoding 3D games? I tried a 3-prompt experiment recently
I’ve been testing how far pure text prompting can take a 3D game concept lately. I ran a quick test on Hy4 Preview to see if I could get a full shooter loop running in just three prompts without touching an IDE.
First prompt was pretty basic. Just asked for a third person setup in an alley with WASD movement, mouse aim, and static targets. Got a working greybox right away. Camera tracked fine and collisions were solid, though it felt like a plain tech demo.
Second prompt added the core mechanics. Asked for a warehouse scene, enemy waves using cover, gun recoil, muzzle flash, ammo tracking, and a game over state. The logic actually held together, despite enemies occasionally bumping into walls.
Final prompt was just tweaking the vibe. Lowered enemy reaction times, fixed spawn points, and dropped ammo pickups on the floor. I uploaded a quick clip showing how the iteration went.
Are any of you experimenting with interactive 3D stuff in your vibe coding setups? What prompt structures or workflows are giving you the cleanest results?

How it feels to run a fear mongering campaign for months to kill SaaS, then launch a partnership with SaaS companies
I had 14 chair tabs open. Labor Day finally made me close all of them
I got to the point where I somehow knew more about office chair armrests than any normal person should.
used Steelcase, HON, Branch, random mesh chairs, ergo3d... every time I thought I’d decided, I opened three more Reddit threads.
then I saw the ergo3d starting at $299.99 in the nouhaus Labor Day sale and realized I was probably about to spend another three weeks reading the exact same arguments.
so I finally ordered it.
assembly was easier than expected. mesh feels good so far, and the headrest took a little messing around before I found where I actually wanted it.
that’s basically all I’m willing to claim after day one lol.
the real test is a full workweek and one irresponsibly long gaming session.
Lower braces not adjusted for 4 months due to financial constraints, should I still go back?
I’m currently wearing lower braces, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have them adjusted for around 4 months because of financial constraints.
My dental clinic has a rule that if a patient goes more than 3 months without an adjustment, they have the right to refuse to continue accepting the patient. Because of this, I’m now hesitant to schedule an appointment because I’m afraid they might reject me or discontinue my treatment.
I’m wondering if it’s still worth trying to contact the clinic and ask for an appointment, or if I should just look for another dentist. I understand that missing appointments for this long isn’t ideal, but it was genuinely because I couldn’t afford the adjustments at the time.
For dentists/orthodontists here, would you still recommend that I contact the original clinic and explain my situation? Is there anything I should be concerned about after going 4 months without an adjustment?
