Triptans making me physically sick on ajovy?

Im on my third month of ajovy (my third shot was last Friday) and it's going fine. However, since I'm only on my third month it hasn't really "kicked in" yet in terms of effectiveness. My doctor OK'd me to continue taking my ubrelvy for break through migraines, which I've done many times now without issue.

However, my ubrelvy script was due for a new pre-auth recently and my insurance has decided to be uncooperative about covering it. My doctor is going through the appeal process, but we won't know the final verdict for awhile. Since my future access to ubrelvy is currently unknown, I've tried taking some of my rizatriptan stash with my last two migraines - I HAAAAAAAAATE rizatriptan, but they weren't bad migraines so I thought I'd try to deal and save my ubrelvy for bigger migraines on more important days.

However, both times I became extremely nauseous and threw up??

I've never thrown up on rizatriptan prior to starting ajovy and have never thrown up on ajovy (or when taking ajovy with ubrelvy) so this is definitely new...

Has anyone else found that ajovy and triptans dont mix or is this just a me issue?

I agreed to renew my lease, but then a tornado kinda ruined my house...What are my options now?

Location: Illinois (not chicago)

Ive rented a house from an independent landlord (an older couple) for almost a decade now, and I renew the lease every year without issue.

I verbally told my landlords in May that I would be interested in renewing my lease at the end of July, when my current lease expires. I even asked about a longer lease term instead of doing just a year - I like living here, the price is right, and they're pretty good landlords.

Then my town experienced a tornado.

The house is habitable, but the extent of the damage is still being determined...The floors and walls in several areas showed water damage when professionally assessed using digital moisture meters, and the roof needs repaired. There's also damage that's more cosmetic in nature/less crucal towards the habitability of the residence.

My landlord has been very active so far in regards to getting things looked at, but it all still feels very stressful and uncertain, especially in regards to the water damage (mold is an obvious concern).

What are my options? I'd like to continue living here, but I do not feel comfortable doing a normal lease or a lease for a normal term (12+ months) given the damage.

Do I have the right to ask for some sort of conditional lease? Like an "opt out" clause? Or would a normal month-to-month lease be better?

My landlord and I have a good relationship and I'm a good tennant (rent has been paid in full on time every month) but protecting myself should things go south or should the house need a full remodel is obviously my top priority.

"Prescription coverage for the new employee insurance plans will be the same as it was under the old ones" my ass

Cvs and aetna swore UP AND DOWN during open enrollment that the employee prescription coverage for the POS II insurance plan would be the same as it was for the HSP1 plan for those of us who lost HSP1 as an option...so tell me why my script prior-authorizations that used to be approved flawlessly in 24-48 hours under HSP1 are now all being denied?

I've told so many friends and family members that I've stayed with cvs because the insurance was so affordable and had BEYOND exceptional coverage for my scripts...so much for that, I guess. 🫠😭

When a tornado rolls through town while you're on the clock

Hiding under the desk in our office wasn't exactly the bonding experience we were looking for as a store staff but we sure as shit weren't going to sit on the floor of the bathroom. 💀🤮😭

Everyone loves a tiny table bird feeder!

Believe it or not, it only gets knocked over once or twice a week. 😆

Ajovy autoinjector didnt take as long as expected?

Im on my second month of ajovy...My first month I was accidentally given the needle and syringe, but the script was corrected so I got the autoinjector this month as originally planned.

I noticed that the time between clicks was much shorter than expected - the instructions indicated that the second click happens 15 seconds after the first, but mine happened 7 seconds after the first click. Is that normal?

Everything else seemed to be smooth sailing but that threw me off. 😅

Heads up: incoming fees for current HSA accounts

Starting June 1st inspira will charge a $5 monthly maintenance fee for any HSA accounts that are no longer backed by employer and paycheck contributions through CVS.

So, unless you elected to enroll (or stay enrolled) in the HSP 3 plan, you'll start getting charged that monthly maintenance fee as the rest of the plans were not considered "high deductible plans" that qualify for a free HSA.

I called today and the rep I spoke to said they'll reverse the fee for the first month to give everyone time to close their accounts or roll them into different accounts at different institutions after our final HSA deposits are made on Friday.

I know it's only $5 but every penny counts and I'll be damned if I let them take my money. 😂

The difference in views between the pre and post-wedding content

Not her rehearsal dinner tiktoks having as many as 10x the views as her wedding day content 💀

This is why influencers post at least one or two fun dress reveal or getting ready transition tiktoks on the day of the wedding instead of waiting to post all the content the day after the wedding - you gotta strike while the iron is hot and secure views while people are still interested!
