Some context:

1. in the twst fandom, a character being “twisted from” someone or something basically means that they’re inspired by that, so that’s what they meant.
2. This was underneath a ship post I made of Idia and Z

Usually with a question that sounds similar to this, I answer with “yeah” or “yes he is”, but I was kinda cautious or suspicious about what they were gonna say when I 1st saw the comment because of the picture attached.

^(It seemed like one of those reaction pictures people put when judging others)

I don’t think they were trying to be rude or anything like that? I was just kinda like “🤨?” because of the start.

Z and Idia aren’t related, but the characters they’re twisted from are, Idia is twisted from Hades and Z is twisted from Zeus.

Never really had anyone say anything about that until now, everyone else in the fandom so far is just like “alright 🤷🏽”.

^(There’s like an unwritten rule in the fandom where just because someone is twisted from a certain character, that) ^(doesn’t) ^(mean that they’re the same people, or maybe that) ^(did) ^(get written down, idk.)

I’m not making this post because I’m mad or as a vent/rant, I’m just confused on how the conversation would’ve went otherwise and was just sharing it here.

Also, people have made twst OCs out of different kinds of characters from the movie and shipped them with Idia before, I don’t really see a huge difference between my OC and others.

This would probably be within an AU.

Idia’s mii wanted another child in Tomodachi Life, but since I can’t just do the same thing I did with the 1st one, I just decided to come up with a fanchild for them…

^(I’m not used to drawing kids so she) ^(might) ^(look a little wonky.)

Trying to come up with a mix of features for a fanchild like this is lowkey a little difficult.

I just blended Idia and Z’s skin-tones until I got to this one.

The majority of her hair is fire, but they’re kinda curly like Z’s hair.

^(I’ve been trying new ways to draw curly hair.)

I wasn’t sure what to do with her eyebrows :/

A lot more of idia’s features would probably kick in later when she’s older or something.

Might make more sketches of her later

Though, any major focus on her and how they even got a baby in the first place would probably be sometime after Artfight.

I’ve been trying to add more OCs to my Artfight page and was maybe gonna add her to it as one of them.

I mostly relied on “Behind the name” for name ideas (based it on the meanings) and I haven’t been able to choose a last name.

The name is a WIP but here’s some ideas that I had:

^(Especially from her grandmother, the pressure of it all made her break down & overblot, one of the on paper drawings are her overblotting.)

She does actually like the color pink and stuff that could be considered feminine

I was either gonna use Divina or Habryllis as her last name, but I decided to google them both up and idk if either of them would work.

One of my OCs wear a mask, but since I didn’t want it to be plain and bland, I decided to try to figure out a design for it.

It’s not supposed to be in reference to any real culture or history like that, it was just supposed to be some cool looking patterns.

So I have 2 questions:

It’s supposed to be their genderbent versions, their names probably wouldn’t change as girls since they’re both kinda gender neutral.

^(Even with Z’s real name.)

I realized in the middle of making it that it would’ve made more sense for me to put Z as the right character instead of Idia, but I didn’t feel like switching them. :/

^(No actual reason for Idia having pointy ears, I just thought it looked cute.)

This could maybe be based on the idea that sometimes Idia gets random boosts of confidence, so instead of just letting Z make all of the moves, he takes a chance at it too sometimes, he’d probably get at least a little embarrassed and cringe at himself afterwards.

I made this some weeks ago but I didn’t know if I wanted to post it here.

I kinda forgot to post some of this stuff onto this sub, so it’s basically a collection of stuff that I already had but couldn’t post.

The body text is from some of the posts I made about this stuff.

It’s hard trying to figure out how curly hair would look in this style.

^(I wasn’t able to get the fonts that were actually used for the profiles, so I tried to use ones that looked similar on procreate.)

I was having a bit of trouble filling out the profile.

The best shape for the candy that I could think of was a cloud, was thinking of making it a thunder cloud but I just decided to leave it as a simple cloud.

The coloring for both the coffin icon and the candy are based on Grim’s since they live in the same dorm.

Random notes about the profiles:

He kinda takes the place of Yuu, so a few parts are based on that.

^(Like his age not matching up with his grade)

I didn’t know what number to give him, so I just put “(No.??)” for that part.

His name is smudged on the 1st profile I made because I had an idea of him not remembering what his name was when he 1st arrived in Twisted Wonderland.

It says “17-18” for his age in the 1st profile because I didn’t know which one would’ve been best to put, I generally view him as 18, but he would probably be 17 at the start of the story and then turn 18 around book 4-6.

It says none for his dominant hand because he’s ambidextrous

The “17-18” part for his age got changed to 18 in the 2nd profile because I feel like he would maybe remember his real name some time after his birthday since it would probably be later on in the story.

I finished making a profile thing and groovy candy for Z.

It was hard to get the colors accurate with what I was using, but I tried to make it work.

I got the lineart and base color of the hair down, I just have to figure out how to render it. 

Might not look like a lot of progress was made, but I still felt like giving a little update of how it’s going so far. 

^(I had to change the front part of his hair a bit.)

This is what I have so far, I honestly made way more progress than I thought I would.

^(I already had some art of him that I was using as a bit of a guide, so that might’ve been the reason.)

I left the hardest part for last, which is trying to decide how to draw his hair.

Some people gave recommendations for characters to maybe use as a reference and/or other tips, so I’m gonna try to use those.

Might have to change his bangs/front hair a bit, but I’m not changing the hair texture.

Idk how long it’ll take, but I will go the distance and give him his curly hair.

Trying to figure out the eyes placement was probably the hardest part of this. 😭

I made 2 outfits, idk if I should go with the 1st one, the 2nd one, or come up with a new outfit combining the two.

I added some accessories since I felt like that might’ve been one of the few things that were missing in the original sketch of him.

The yellow parts are supposed to be gold.

^(Not really satisfied with the crown, but I’m worried that it’ll look empty without it, so I kept it in there.)

He’s a guy, he just doesn’t really care about what’s considered as masculine or feminine by humans so he just wears whatever.
