Am I the only one?? [Read body]

That day after registration, we weren’t allowed to sit there for long. Someone from the college downloaded the registration acknowledgement so quickly that I couldn’t properly see what they were doing, and I just trusted them when they said they had saved it to my pendrive.

When I plugged the pendrive into my PC at home, I couldn’t find the acknowledgement PDF anywhere. 💀

I’m guessing it was actually downloaded to the college computer’s Downloads folder and they didn't copy it to my pendrive.

Am I the only one who got screwed by this? 😭

Finally received the URX Core M1!

Guy see carbon fiba.

Guy smile.

Guy place order. 💀

First impressions are pretty good so far. This is my first proper/decent mouse, so I don't have much to compare it with, but the build feels solid and the shape feels comfortable. The carbon-fiber finish looks really good in person too.

I'll use it for a while and see how it holds up.

Also, thanks URX for the keychain!! Didn't expect that haha.

Thinking of getting this... what do y'all say?

I was planning to get a mouse around the ₹2k mark, but then URX announced this. Is it a good mouse? Asking cuz Xinmeng Zero 3 has been around for a few months now or should I get something else?

Also, this would be my first purchase from URX? How's their build quality, QC, and especially their after-sales service if something goes wrong? Please share your opinions.

Started Orb with zero expectations... Finished it wondering why nobody forced me to watch it sooner.

I can't believe I slept on Orb for so long.

I'll admit it, the first episode didn't completely hook me. The pacing is measured, there's very little action, and the dialogue-heavy, philosophical approach might make some people think it's not for them. The historical setting and the lack of typical anime tropes can also make it easy to drop after an episode or two.

But if you stick with it, the payoff is incredible.

What starts as a story about astronomy gradually becomes a powerful exploration of curiosity, truth, conviction, and the price people are willing to pay for knowledge. Every major character leaves an impression, and the writing treats the audience with respect, letting the themes unfold naturally instead of spelling everything out.

This isn't just one of the best anime I've watched. It's one of the best stories I've ever experienced. If you're on the fence, give it a few episodes. It's absolutely worth the journey!!

Doubt regarding Anti-Ragging undertaking!

I took admission after R1, but the college staff didn’t ask me to fill out the Anti-Ragging undertaking. Should we complete it at home before college starts, or will the college guide us through it during the orientation session?

Help, the "verify eligibility" button doesn't seem to work, no matter how many times I tap it.

I'm on an Android device. Currently using the trial version and wish to subscribe to the student plan.

A warning to anyone with a Rockstar account/GTA VI pre-order: Turn on 2FA immediately!

Today at 4:33 AM, my Rockstar Games account was completely compromised. Some guy in Russia (likely not even using a VPN, as they immediately tried changing my account language to Russian and I received a follow-up email in Russian) managed to get in.

They changed absolutely everything: the email, password, username, and even the DoB (somehow).

I haven't even pre-ordered GTA VI yet, but my account was still targeted. With the demand and hype for the game being absolutely crazy right now, hackers are definitely going to be trying to compromise as many accounts as possible to flip them later.

Take this as a strong reminder to go check your settings right now and turn on Two-Step Verification (2FA) for your Rockstar accounts (and your email accounts linked to them). Don't wait until you get that middle-of-the-night email like I did.

Can anyone recommend games (2015–2022) with great graphics and stories?

I wanna play some games on my 1440p monitor. My laptop won't be able to handle recent titles beyond 1080p but I'm sure it can handle some older titles in 1440p. I'm ok with stable 30FPS or 60FPS.

Open to any genre but I mainly like FPS, open world RPG, ARPG, action-adventure. You can recommend games from your favorite genre too, I'll play it if I find it interesting.

Currently I use the monitor (plugged in to my old PC) mostly for some work and browsing related stuff but I'm willing to game on it.

My laptop specs are:

i5 13450HX

RTX 3050 6GB mobile (95W TGP)

Somehow Hollow Knight is both chaos and calm. You rage at bosses, compete in the Colosseum of Fools, then chill in places like Queen's Gardens, Blue Lake or Resting Grounds and just exist for a while.

The OSTs carry it even further. The Resting Grounds OST (in this clip) is easily my favorite.

Funny how a game about bugs leaves a bigger impact than most AAA games
