Another grown adult playing a children’s game and taking it too seriously
We have been together for 4 years. Our first two were long distance while I was finishing school. We just moved back home (we have the same hometown) and I’m depressed. I really do not like the place we are from and I didn’t realize how badly it would impact me and our relationship. Is it healthy for us if I move to nyc with a friend for a year? Is it a slippery slope? He has a really good job here and this is where he wants to be for now. I’ve made him move three times in two years already for my job. He said he will go with me after 5 years of being back home to wherever my job takes us.
Am I even crazy for thinking of this??
I’ve been on my IE journey for over a year now. Tons of progress, but cannot stop objectifying myself and feeling I would be more worthy in a smaller body. I read More Than a Body and it really helped open my eyes but just wondering if anyone had any advice for how you stopped caring and how it has helped you to care less about your body. It’s really holding me back, and getting harder with the rise of ozempic.

I am really nervous about making friends in Denver as I don’t know anyone. I also work remotely. I’m not a runner (so no run club) or religious but I enjoy hiking, lifting, and reading. I know there’s always events happening but people just usually stay in their groups. I’m in my mid 20s and female. I grew up in the suburbs but spent the last 7 years away and holy cow has Denver changed.
I’m 25 and would love to walk as much as possible but understand Denver’s not really a walking city. I’m social and work remotely, but would prefer to keep my car nearby. I also prefer new/nice apartment buildings (budget is $3k ish per month) but also open if people have had good experiences elsewhere.

You can match the tiles so much faster with your fingers than your keypad or mouse. I also have a hunch it’s easier on mobile? I remember playing on desktop and it was much harder. I beat atlantiles at least 70% of the time on mobile.
Some other (but minor) tips
- just go as fast as you can until level 8
- on level 8, just make sure you can clear each set together at the same time, or that each set has a likely path of matching before clearing one set
Side question, is it possible to break 20,000pts? I imagine is has to be but I’ve never seen a high score of the day that high.

Attaching a blurry pic because I don’t want to dox them but there is an extremely dangerous 2004 gold Toyota Tacoma driving around south Boulder/CU. I saw them use the right RTD turn lane off Table Mesa to aggressively cut someone off at the light and continue to break check them on Foothills. They almost crashed into this driver and others MULTIPLE times. The other driver didn’t escalate thankfully, and I’ve already called *277 to report the aggressive driver, but I’m doubtful anything will come of it. They turned onto Colorado so I assume they work or research at CU where all the labs are. From what I saw, looked like a white male in his late 20s/30s.
He is extremely unhinged and vengeful, the worst I’ve seen driving around. Please be aware and be safe!!
Update: I called the non-emergency BPD line and also made a report after my earlier Colorado State Patrol report. They gave me no case number and did not seem to care much. If you have been affected by this driver, PLEASE also report it so BPD can take it seriously. License plate ends with P30.
