Back on my titan for a bit after having the Artemis sent on loan for a while. Feel like I never left.
Pushing speed just past the point of control. Delt’s second to last target, Mike in the hard cover of the last target. Wasn’t concerned with hits as long as I could perceive where they went as the dot lifted.
Included the dry run without targets where I was trying to figure out what sort of partials I wanted
Unfortunately my eyes looked at the no shoot
10th in LO. But the speed is coming along. Looking forward to continuing to put in the work.
Day two was not my day. But this was a good stage from day one. 20 seconds 3 charlies
Richmond puts on an insanely high quality local match twice a month. So grateful to be able to shoot these matches.

Wanted to shoot it immediately so I grabbed two mags and hopped in. Unneeded makeups kept this from being more noticeably faster.
Also coming into the last position I got too far back and my feet were right next to each other on the fault line and I sorta slowly fell out of the shooting area causing slower hits on steel and paper.
Incredibly blessed and grateful to be able to shoot at a range that puts on such great consistent matches.
Clamshell didn’t activate on my first attempt. Grabbed two mags and went right back up. Fun stage. Looking forward to my next match which will be Coastal Classic a level 2 in San Louis Obispo.
Wasatch arms mount and comp. Might have a local guy bore it out to accept 40s&w lol 😂
Area 1 championship in Nevada was a great time. Happy with how I shot!
16th LO 83%
Shot well for where I’m at in my shooting career. Plenty of time left on the table and looking forward to continuing working towards improving
P4 feels nicer than the 3.6 and takes less effort.
C3.6 I think I shoot as good or nearly as good. But I definitely have to have my grip more locked in and takes more effort to do the same things.
C4X feels as easy to shoot maybe even easier than the P4 probably because it feels fast and doesn’t lift much.
All of this is minutia. They are very capable guns with different roles that they excel in.
Normally the VERY first thing I do when I bring a new on roster gun into the home is remove the mag disconnect. Normally I do this before entering the home going straight into the garage. But Gideon sent me this dot like 4-5 months ago and it’s been taunting me.
So we mounted the dot. Took some heavy hammering to get the sight out like most S&W sights.
Inserting the dovetail mount for the optic took some filing and hammering as well. But it definitely isn’t going anywhere lmao 🤣
Anyone got an idiots guide to removing the mag disconnect?
A week or two ago I posted that I shot 4(5) of the new classifiers.
They have since been posted publicly.
If you want to see them pov/3rd person feel free to check my recent posts
1st, 2nd, and the second to last are NOT 26 series. The rest are.
The one “downrange” obviously. Is part of a matched pair where the other one is starting you at the downrange part of the stage and you have to work your way back.
So what you see here is 4 classifiers and you could deduce the 5th.
Not sure how many others there are. I don’t think these have been posted elsewhere.
It was definitely an experience. Shot 76% in open division with minor power factor (less points for c/d zone hits) 11th out of 76 open shooters.
If I was in limited optics I would have had a mid/low 80% match performance. I’m happy with it even though I had so many things stacked against me.

I needed the belt bounty entry and LO was supposed to not count as a classifier so I figured it was the perfect opportunity and it would be good for content purposes.
11th Open 76%
BUT I didn’t realize a guy I know who recently hit GM was registered but hadn’t updated that he hit GM since registration opened. So I could’ve had a chance at actually shooting my classification level in a major(big goal of mine this year)
If I was in LO this would’ve been a low 80% performance. So I’m happy all things considered. Many stages benefited from drawing and shooting targets immediately and my reloads were constantly holding me up from shooting when I wanted to be.
This was a good reminder that it’s good to have fun sometimes because this is a game after all. And if we’re not having fun what’s the point.
Next major is Area 1 in Nevada and then coastal classic in San Luis Obispo. Looking forward to those!
