3AM is about to abandon this game

We are all aware that there is a $500 exclusive cosmetic pack that probably no one is going to buy.

mistik is just doing a final cash grab and hoping some idiot actually buys it to cut their losses. The diepio discord server is dead, the game is half dead, they're putting bots in FFA with "real name" to create this false image that the game is still alive when it's not.

mistik was probably hoping that everyone would buy the vip but he's misjudged the community, so far probably only 10 players a month buys it and most of them are a one-time buyer, that means they'd try it out and gets bored then stops buying, so in the long run, the number of people that'd buy it would decrease since the player base is shrinking. The amount of money mistik is getting from these vip isn't even enough to cover the cost of hosting the server, so he's slowly bleeding money every month.

mistik/3AM is not the brightest tool to say the least, he misjudged the current gaming trend and spent over around $22,500 USD (initially, probably a lot more by now) to buy the game hoping he'd make something out of it, but so far what he has done is driving more players to quit the game while losing even more money, a lose lose situation.

I mean I am not that surprised because if you guys check out his instagram profile, he buys his followers and pretty much is a celebrity "wanna be" type of person.

Should I trust my gut intuition?

So far, I'm 12 days into my sales job, started on September 1st and now it's the 12th, I've sold 0 cars, I've noticed all the customers that I had a gut intuiton about being tire kickers were all right, for instance, I had a guy that backed out of a deal even when we agreed on everything, he made some lame excuses and decided to pull out, and the first time I spoke with him, I already had a feeling that he's just here to "show off", telling me all the expensive cars he owned etc.

My other question is, how do I change my mindset from being a sales vs being a guide? I've tried to put myself in the customer's shoes and I kind of can see that if I was a customer, everything I'm doing right now would push me away as well, I feel like I just want to corner the customer into making a decision instead of actually guiding them and figuring out their needs. When a customer saying they're looking for a certain car, the correct mindset should be actually thinking about the reason they're looking to buy a car, but for me, it's more like following a script, I need to ask this and that, and I just can't seem to adjust yet. At the same time, I don't want to be too thoughtful about the customer's needs to the point I lose my judgements on tirekickers and serious buyers.

What is the psychology behind a customer saying a lot of stuff over the phone and being slightly rude?

I received a sales call from a customer, and he said "oh, you sound like a robot, I'm going to hang up and call you back", then calls me back later and said "you sounded like a robot earlier so I hung-up on you", I know he's probably trying to reach someone else, but the call center assigned me the call again, and he asked me about a vehicle we had, then started going off about how his credit score was low because some other dealership unauthorized credit check so many times, saying a lot of crediting technical terms trying to sound smart, telling me he'd put 35% down payment, I told him I'll send him the carfax and take pictures and send it to him over text message.

So after the call, I sent him the carfax immedietly, and I went to take some photos, there was a dent in the hood and I showed him that, I told him it's reflected in the price, but we'll get it fixed and just waiting for the parts to arrive, then he said he's busy and will get back to me, I said no problem. Couple hours later I sent a text saying he can leave a deposit to secure the car, but he ghosted me ever since

What am I doing wrong when greeting customers?

I honestly feel like customers don't want to buy the car from me, when I greet them initially, I greet them like an old friend that I've known for a long time, and then I'd ask them some questions but I feel like the customers just wants to get out of here?

A customer I just helped, manager saw him in the parking lot and asked me to go help them out, I went to the parking lot and he came out of the car, I went up to him with a big smile and shook his hand, we exchanged names and he told me the car he's looking for, asked him a few questions like "are you trading in your car?" and "where are you coming from today" then I asked him to go inside and grab a seat, he said "no, i'll just stay here", i said "no problem, let me go grab the key for you", I told him the car is at a different location but down the street, I can take them there, he said "no it's fine" with a grin, gave me the feeling that he doesn't want me to be the sales.

I met him at the other location and showed him the car, he said "the rims are damaged", i told him we can repair that for him, he was already finding excuse to leave, and basically looked at the car for 30 seconds and asked me to let him know if a new car same model comes in without even giving me his phone number.

He wasn't even the only one, every customer that walked in, I can't really talk without the room being slightly awkward, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, is it because the way how I talk to them? my demeanor?

How to become a better car salesman?

I recently just got hired at an independet dealership in Vancouver, and so far I've only collected a backup deposit for a car from a weblead given by the manager. I've been posting these cars on facebook marketplace, tiktok, rednote but don't seem to generate much interests, people would ask me for the carfax then ghost me. I had two people that came in the dealership wanting to sell their car but they think I'm lowballing them and decided to check other places (I know if I probably could've gotten the deal if I was better at speaking with the client).

So my questions are

  1. How do I generate more leads?
  2. How to speak and negotiate with customers and make them lower their guard (most customers right now just ask questions and I answer and they leave, feels pretty transactional)?
  3. Are there any other places I should be looking to post ads or can reach potential buyers?

Russia is losing in every possible ways

  • Human capital loss — deaths, injuries, and emigration remove workers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and future leaders.
  • Demographic damage — fewer young people, fewer births, and a distorted age structure can suppress Russia's potential for decades.
  • Brain drain — educated and internationally connected Russians leaving means Russia loses not only individuals but the networks and future institutions they would have created.
  • Technology gap — sanctions and isolation restrict access to advanced components, equipment, software, research, and international scientific collaboration.
  • Loss of technological ecosystems — technology isn't just something you buy; it requires suppliers, researchers, universities, capital, manufacturing expertise, and institutions. Rebuilding these takes years or decades.
  • Institutional degradation — prolonged war can strengthen political loyalty, state control, rent-seeking, and corruption at the expense of competition and merit.
  • War-economy distortion — military spending can make GDP and industrial production look strong while diverting labor, capital, and resources away from productive civilian investment.
  • International isolation — damaged relationships with Europe and other developed economies mean lost markets, investment, technology exchange, and diplomatic options. Rebuilding those relationships isn't instantaneous.
  • Social and regional strain — uneven casualties, economic burdens, and mobilization can deepen differences between regions, ethnic groups, and socioeconomic classes, particularly if the war ends badly.
  • Lost future potential — this is the deepest one. The damage isn't merely what Russia lost in 2022–26; it's what those lost people, technologies, businesses, children, institutions, and international relationships would have produced over the next several decades.

I miss flipfire in ffa

I wish they can bring it back occasionally. It was single handedly that strongest tank that has ever existed, it shreds every single tank with the exception of factory, where it's still a 50/50 when attacking.

I really mean it when I say it shreds every single tank, overlord, sprayer, triplet, or any bullet spammer, annihilator can't defend against it when faced with front flip charge, none of the trapper class can defend against it, although the auto-trapper does make it slightly harder for the fighter.

coworker getting spoon-fed by managers

Me and this girl both started working on the same day at a car dealership, she was quiet and sticked to herself (we both have no prior experience in car sales), I was constantly asking others questions and doing role-plays with other coworkers, however, now we're both 3 weeks in, she made 2 car sales in total, I've made none, but I've noticed that both her customers that bought were leads given by the manager with intentions of buying already, while I had to post so many ads on marketplace, and cold calling customers, and I have to stick by the entrance so I can hope to find some walkins and persuade them into buying. The managers were helping me a little as well, but I feel like they're just pretending to help me. I just feel like this is so unfair.
