Just fixed the headlights.
Went with dual horizontal headlights on my Engwe m20 v1 ebike build mainly for safety. For v3 you can do the same. It's quite easy: just open one case and put a bolt inside so you can connect two headlights together.
Research on motorcycle conspicuity shows that widening the light spread helps other drivers judge your speed and distance more accurately as you approach, especially at night, instead of being mistaken for something smaller/farther away with a single light. Bonus: it also gives the front end a bit of a face-like look, which apparently makes vehicles register faster and feel more “present” to other drivers too.
