Crashes and disconnects happen, here is how to deal with them (for players and for devs)

There are definitely crashes and disconnects, for me I've done a 144 races, a good chunk of them were endurance races, and i have crashed/ disconnected 4 times only, so basically 2.8% of races, still wish it was zero so i can have that peace of mind.

(The 2 last disconnects was 1st a driver issue, and the 2nd was a Virtual Desktop issue)

So mostly likely that number would be 1.4%

Although i do think that the percentage is probably very high for a not so insignificant number of players.

But its highly likely that they haven't done these to avoid the disconnects/crash provided their actual pc doesn't have a corrupt gpu drivers or high cpu/gpu temps:

-Verify Integrity of game files inside steam after every update (if it says that you have missing files then this is a big reason)

-changing the time mode in windows to be automatic and clicking sync now( most likely prevents disconnects)

The problem is that some people will have many crashes and disconnects because they didn't check the discord server, and i can't blame them since the game has fully released a year ago so one would reasonably expect that the game would work normally.

Also here are the steps of what i listed:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Fixes game crash+ disconnects+ random bugs and issues)

Right click on LMU in Steam menu, Properties, Installed Files, Verify Integritry of Game files.

----

(Fixes disconnects mid race)

Go to:

Windows settings,

Date & Time,

Set the time automatically: On,

Sync now.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lastly, this message is to the devs, please make the most crucial fixes appear as a notification in the game, not all of us dive into discord to get this kind of vital information.

Also have the game track if someone didn't implement the important fixes and alert the player,

Have the game track if he got disconnected or game crash, and make the game suggest the fix.

6 Tracks in the span of less than 6 months is crazy!!!

So yeah the coming tracks are awesome:

-Road Atlanta

-Indianapolis

-Daytona

-Long Beach

-Laguna Seca

- Watkens Glen

But realizing that we will get all of them before the end of 2026 is actually something insane, so basically a track every month starting with Daytona

My guess is that the Long Beach isn't going to be a special event and will be just a weekly race 2.4 hour just like real life

Also i think S397 will give us 1 free track, i still haven't mentioned that we will get loads of new features on top of these tracks which is really what makes me excited for this update, it will be a legendary one.

Payed to fix my wheel, Moza decided to break my wheel :) (rant)

DON'T BUY REPLACEMENT PARTS FROM MOZA, ONLY GET THEM UNDER WARRANTY!!!!

FSR was having delayed shifts and sometimes isn't detected by pithouse, so i was told to do a motherboard replacement, so yeah they sent me a motherboard with the wrong connectors so now i cannot use the paddles to change gear.

So yeah my FSR is usually now :)

I guess they wanted me to buy a new wheel instead that also will have an annoying issue in the future that will need another "motherboard replacement"

This is like my third time ordering a replacement part from Moza, and all of them were broken, they actually git worse.

First time they sent me something slightly broken, second time more broken, third time which is this one its completely broken.

And you absolutely need to be skilled at working with pcbs and soldering otherwise you are screwed

So yeah even if i get my 70$ refund, i still can't buy another FSR. So yeah thanks a lot Moza 📉

10 days until IMSA/ America tracks are announced!!! Thoughts??

Yes, the video for the update will be on the 4th of July, so its basically confirmed as of this point.

The question is, how do you think this addition will change Le Mans Ultimate???

New LMP3 is slow...?

I did a race in imola and noticed that i was barely overtaking GT3s in straights and against other LMP3 cars, it felt as if my car was actually in LMP3.5 class, anyone noticed the difference in performance??

Here's how to fix the insanely wobbling Lamborghini Revoulto paddles

There are two ways, the best one is to put the plastic sheet between the washers that hold the paddle at the base, which means you will have to unscrew the paddles which isn't hard at all, the second way is easier but less effective, which is to just stick the plastic tab to the far off paddle assembly where the magnets are near by

1 million skill points by only drifting, cuz why not :)

I basically picked a car with slim rear tires and and gave it max power so that on 6th gear it always drifts no matter how fast or slow the corner is, the car is the Volkswagen pickup, the tiny one.

If anyone wants to give this a go: Car: Volkswagen Pickup LX Tune code:752 041 196 Use the highway and never leave it, you will only get off once per loop in downtown Tokyo city, and of course always stick to 6 gear for maximum drift and less effort 👌🏽

Lack luster build quality + toxic customer service

So i have been using Moza for the last 3 years, i have bought so many moza racing products, so it is such a disappointment to have to experience this.

So my main issue is with the QR extension that comes with the Moza Multifunctionalstalks. I bought this product as soon as it was made available, but then i later found out the dishonestly about the product, when i first got it, it was fine for driving road cars and trucks, but as soon as you go racing, the qr rattles like crazy and you can feel it through the steering wheel, so i contacted customer support, and they sent me another qr extension for the stalks, and it had the same exact issue, so i had to bench the stalks for over a year until they finally refine the qr for the stalks, and now i received the latest one after paying 70$ and waiting a whole month. And they gave me the worst version possible, it was wobbling from side to side. So i went to the discord server, and when i post about the issue and my frustration in the tech support channel, my comments get deleted... So all in all, if you plan on buying any future products from Moza, just know that build quality isn't guaranteed since they care more about quantity. And get ready to deal with frustrating customer service.

Going forward, i will always think twice about purchasing any new product, I'm glad my mbooster didn't suffer with this issue.

my setup:
RTX 4080 (main)
RTX 4060 (for encoding)
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
64gb ddr5 ram
ROG X870E-E
so i stream to youtube and twtich while in VR at the same time, my main issue is that when i start the stream my fps drops by 20% on average, and this is what ChatGPT recommended me to do:

🎮 VR

  • GPU: RTX 4080
  • Encoder: NVENC (4080)
  • Codec: H.264
  • Reason: lowest latency + VR must stay on strongest GPU

📺 Twitch Streaming

  • GPU: RTX 4080
  • Encoder: NVENC (4080)
  • Codec: H.264
  • Reason: Twitch only supports H.264 + needs stability

📺 YouTube Streaming

  • GPU: RTX 4080
  • Encoder: NVENC (4080)
  • Codec: AV1
  • Reason: best quality efficiency for YouTube

🎥 Recording (Local)

  • GPU: RTX 4060
  • Encoder: NVENC (4060)
  • Codec: HEVC (H.265) (or AV1 if your workflow supports it)
  • Reason: isolates heavy recording load away from VR + streaming GPU

please if you have a better suggestion fire away
