Crashes and disconnects happen, here is how to deal with them (for players and for devs)
There are definitely crashes and disconnects, for me I've done a 144 races, a good chunk of them were endurance races, and i have crashed/ disconnected 4 times only, so basically 2.8% of races, still wish it was zero so i can have that peace of mind.
(The 2 last disconnects was 1st a driver issue, and the 2nd was a Virtual Desktop issue)
So mostly likely that number would be 1.4%
Although i do think that the percentage is probably very high for a not so insignificant number of players.
But its highly likely that they haven't done these to avoid the disconnects/crash provided their actual pc doesn't have a corrupt gpu drivers or high cpu/gpu temps:
-Verify Integrity of game files inside steam after every update (if it says that you have missing files then this is a big reason)
-changing the time mode in windows to be automatic and clicking sync now( most likely prevents disconnects)
The problem is that some people will have many crashes and disconnects because they didn't check the discord server, and i can't blame them since the game has fully released a year ago so one would reasonably expect that the game would work normally.
Also here are the steps of what i listed:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Fixes game crash+ disconnects+ random bugs and issues)
Right click on LMU in Steam menu, Properties, Installed Files, Verify Integritry of Game files.
----
(Fixes disconnects mid race)
Go to:
Windows settings,
Date & Time,
Set the time automatically: On,
Sync now.

Lastly, this message is to the devs, please make the most crucial fixes appear as a notification in the game, not all of us dive into discord to get this kind of vital information.
Also have the game track if someone didn't implement the important fixes and alert the player,
Have the game track if he got disconnected or game crash, and make the game suggest the fix.
