How would people feel about a lore vid/essay with strong core lore but lots of what if’s or fun speculation?

I’ve always wanted to do videos where I use established lore as a foundation, then branch into discussing possibilities or making evidence-based speculation about things the games never fully answer.

For example: How did each generation after the bombs think, survive, and adapt? Or what might everyday life have looked like between the Great War and 2277?
Obviously I’d be very clear about what’s canon and what’s speculation.

Would that be something you’d enjoy, or would you rather lore videos stick strictly to confirmed canon?

For some reason people keep thinking my voice is A.I.

I’m not quite sure what to do about this. I do faceless long form fallout content. I’ve been doing it since November of last year and I’m finally getting some traction but I’ve noticed a weird issue. I’ve been getting a comment on some of my videos like “A.I. slop” or “For an A.I. voice this isn’t half bad” or some pretty cruel ones I wont repeat lol. I’ve tried addressing it politely but people don’t believe me. Is there a way I can address this without being hostile? Or should I just ignore them? I put a ton of work into my videos and my mic audio… so it’s just been a bit of a bummer. Thanks guys

Wanting to move to socal after living in norcal my entire life. Looking for a safe chill area

Hey guys! I'm sure yall get these posts at nauseum, but after looking on my own for about 3 months, I still feel like I'm not getting any closer. My husband and I are mainly moving due to a few medical conditions I have that the Sacramento summers make unbearable. We're looking for an area that's cooler than here, relatively safe, with hopefully a decent job market. We'll be selling our home for around 430k, I know that's not much but it's what we're working with. I've been told a few cities to look into are: Certain parts of Ventura, Newbury Park, Camarillo, and certain parts of Oxnard. Am I underestimating finding something in socal for the money we'll have? Any advice or places to look into would be super helpful. Oh and we're not really night life people so that wont be a factor. Thanks a ton!

ETA: Thanks for all the suggestions friends! This post helped me manage my expectations for moving to so cal. Yall were super helpful.

I don't think I've ever been more proud of a home I've built in 76!

I just recently started really putting time into building. Last home I built was about a year ago and it was neat but I'm super proud of this one. The new building mechanics really helped. My favorite part of the house is the kitchen <3.

My channel is doing ok but I’m struggling with packaging

Hello! I started my channel last November and have been truly enjoying creating content. I noticed that my retention is great, most of my views come from suggested or browse, views ok, but my CTR is lower than I’d like. Around 0.8 - 3%. A lot of people have told me it’s due to my thumbnail and title packages. I’ve done a ton of research on packaging, but it seems research isn’t enough because I haven’t been able to raise the CTR much. I know it’s not the only factor I should be focusing on but it seems to be where I struggle most. I have a pretty small fallout lore channel so when I look up how to improve my thumbnails I feel like the posts or videos don’t really coincide with my content very well. I’ve tried looking at other fallout channels that are doing well, but I really don’t see a huge difference between their thumbnails and mine. Is there an outside source y’all recommend for help with packaging for more niche channels? How do I identify what’s wrong with my packaging? Is it my packaging, or is it my niche/small channel that has a smaller CTR ceiling? Thanks in advance :D <3

Looking for a Wes Anderson style videographer for my wedding

A few years ago, I stumbled upon a Wes Anderson style wedding video on Instagram. I thought it was fantastic! He’s one of my favorite directors and I would absolutely love my wedding filmed like that. Is this something I can ask a videographer to do? Or does anyone know of any videographers like that in the Sacramento/northern California area? I tried googling it but it’s a very specific thing to look for lol. Thank you for any help you can offer!

Hello everyone! First time posting here and I’m completely new to weddings, the culture and rules. I’ll be straight forward with my question. My fiancé and I already live together in my home, we have everything we need (appliances, tools, etc.) So, would it be inappropriate to ask our guests to donate whatever they’re comfortable with to a honeymoon fund instead of gifts? It will NOT be required or anything weird like that. Gifts have always been optional with us. If it is doable, how would you go about doing it? I want people to know it isn’t necessary but if they feel so inclined, they can donate. Ive looked around online and have found conflicting views, I just don’t want to upset my guests with a weird ask. Any knowledge or advice would be lovely. Thank you!
