2020 Elantra AC not working right after extreme heat wave in US help!

I noticed no (or barely) cool air coming out of the two center vents in my 2020 Elantra Value Edition. Even on high, it seems like almost nothing is coming out of center vents. It sounds like there is a noise inside, but it's not very loud and I can barely hear it. Can't tell if it's a rattle, a drip, or something else.

Cool air seems to be coming out of side vents, though.

I'm not an expert on cars and just got it a few months ago. Figures this happens during a heat wave with 90% humidity and high dew points.

Has this happened to anyone else in their car or Elantra? Potential causes and solutions l?

Umbreon defeated Metagross, Charizard, and other powerful mons only to get defeated by Red's Pikachu! Fortunately, Toxic took Pikachu with it.

Apparently, Pikachu had a Light Ball.

If Sapphire comes to Switch, Im thinking about using this team

Can use my Lite with Firered to obtain Kingdra and Alakazam once I buy a Switch 2. I really like Kingdra, but it's difficult to obtain in many pokemon games. I used it in Black and White 2 to defeat champions in that competition thing.

2020 Elantra getting better MPG than I originally thought

Sometimes the indicator would say I was getting less than 30 mpg. But I realized that's cause I didn't reset the mpg and idling the car makes mpg values significantly lower. Cause you're basically getting 0 mpg when not moving at all?

I ran a few tests on the highway and on some back roads with hills etc. -- with AC on low.

And wow! Im getting really good mpg. I know someone that has a hybrid jeep and they get 35. My car isn't even a hybrid and is getting around the same.

I doordash so mpg is important to me. And also cause gas is higher than it used to be.

It makes me wonder if Elantra hybrid and prius can achieve higher than EPA ratings under right driving conditions?

Unfortunately, it's very hot in 2026 summer in USA so I might not be able to test mpg without AC use. Least not long term.

Highest quality, durable flooring for an old mobile home?

I am very frustrated and going half-mad cause the flooring in the kitchen and living room is very uneven in most places. It's sagging and sinking, making it difficult to walk on, affecting balance.

One day, when I save up enough money, I'd like to fix the flooring. The kitchen is my first priority. It's fairly small square foot wise. There's also a couple other rooms that are badly damaged due to major water damage. But that will have to be fixed later.

What is the highest quality flooring that feels solid beneath your feet and doesn't bounce or flex and is highly water resistant? I need something that feels solid, almost if I were on concrete. Im mainly concerned about durability, reliability, and an even floor that is structurally sound. Appearance and style is not a priority.

My knowledge is very limited in this area. A family member installed flooring in hallway and bathroom but it still feels uneven and structural integrity is not strong as it could be. There's a "slanted feel."

Do I need to get subflooring? What are my best options?

It's very stressful mentally cause it just gets worse year after year. Looking to hire an expert carpenter one day.

How often to change oil in a 6th gen Elantra?

I just bought my 1st car a couple months ago. And people often say regular oil changes are important for health of car. I hear mixed info. Some people say every 10k - others say every 3k or 5k. My cousin told me every 10k and he works at Honda dealership, but Ive heard mechanics say around every 5000 miles give or take.

Why is my Incline Bench almost as strong as my Flat Barbell?

I am very frustrated cause even though I've done 225 lb for 5-6 reps on incline (paused with full rom) -- my strength on flat bench isn't much more. I feel very weak cause I never hit 315 on bench with a pause. Barely did 7-8 on flat but nearly did the same on incline. Also, have repped 90-100 dumbbells on incline.

Im not sure if I have poor leverages for flat or have weak links that prevent my potential on flat bench.

In 2025, I was able to lift 295 lb off my chest with a pause, but failed at the very top. Was demoralized cause it was close.

If Sapphire comes to Switch, I'm going to try this team

Will trade Kanto mons from Firered once I get Switch 2. Always liked Mudkip due to it only having one weakness and access to Surf HM.

Best teammates for Alakazam in Battle Tower Singles?

I used to sink a lot of hours into battle tower and bdsp in general when I used to go to laundry matt. One thing I concluded about BT is that coverage moves are vital. And AI has a lot of counters against your types.

What Pokemon do you think would go well with Alakazam? Mine has Psyshock, Nasty Plot, Energy Ball, and Shadow Ball. He's been an absolute beast but I've got to watch out for counters, particularly dark types like Weavil.

I remember Starmie and super fast Pokémon being hard to deal with in the Battle Tower. I managed to beat the tower once or twice but often lose in the 30s and 40s rounds.

Birds Kept Pooping on my Elantra, so I got some help from some friends . . .

My first car as well, so I was getting frustrated seeing birds attack their own reflection and 💩 on my car. Well, I got some fake owls and snakes 🐍 to serve as protectors!

Sport Mode in the Elantra almost feels like I'm driving a different car.

I just got the car a month ago but only recently started using Sport Mode occasionally. It feels noticeably more powerful and accelerates faster and steering feels heavier and turning quicker! The Elantra goes up steep hills easier in SM. I live in PA, so there's a lot of hills in certain areas. While I mainly use Normal mode for fuel efficiency, SM can be good in certain situations like merging or going up inclines.

Finally got my first car a month ago - 2020 Elantra Value Edition

Was difficult to find a Sedan with low mileage. Everything was mostly SUV / trucks. Originally wanted a Toyota Hybrid but could not find many in my area. 2 other Elantras in my area sold out b4 I could get them. Guess 3rd time is a charm.
