My Brother is in a 7 Piece ska band doing weekend gigs.
He asked me along to do some pics.
The Band are happy with them and will use them in promo stuff online I gave them 102 in the end.
This type of photography is way out my usual comfort zone of landscape and urbex.
These are the ones I thought were best from a photography standpoint I'm sure I'll be doing more in the future so wouldn't mind some tips from other photographers that have covered small bands
The good thing is I had free roam of the stage as I was worried the 50mm 1.4 on my d700 wouldn't have the reach if I couldn't get in the action.
Can't.... Stop shooting with my d700..
In Love with this thing just the way it renders colours is superb.
I'm used to a M43 Olympus while that camera is excellent when I want to carry a camera all day the Nikon wins for SOOC images
I've been shooting raw+ Jpeg while getting to grips with the d700 but think I'll soon switch to jpeg
Loving this D700 I will never sell it
Went out to a local kids theme park today, Between taking pics of my kids I try take some interesting photos I love the colours in these places and some scenes look quite surreal.
