So i was finishing another project where I needed to melt the rivets into the 3d printed part and a thought crossed my mind: why is there no such mod for the model m? It would be so much easier, faster and it hold pretty well. I will try this on another one and report the results back.

So im currently doing the bolt mod for the model M since I disassembled it and thought why not at that stage. Ive done all the holes and when im putting a M2x8mm bolt inside the hole its just to short, no way it can hold onto something. Why are all instructions mentioning M2x8mm? 9mm would hold much better

I was able to finally recreate the Panasonic Q region switch pic that allows to change the region of the system just by holding the power button longer on startup. It took way longer then I thought and was a pain in the ass to get all the equipment since everything hat to be running on winXp. Im so happy to be able to make this mod from scratch since there are no sellers anywhere offering this modchip.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a FW900. The Display frame was painted over in a mat black color by a previous owner that becomes shiny when I go over it with isopropanol, but is not going off. Whas the best solution here to remove that ugly color and have the display back in its original color?

I’m having a really strange issue with GCMCE.
No matter what I do, it always detects a Japanese memory card with a Kururin Squash save on it.

Here’s what I’ve tried:
Deleted the memory card image multiple times.
Removed the SD card completely.
Let GCMCE recreate everything from scratch.
Despite that, it always comes back showing the same Japanese card and Kururin Squash save.

The weird part is:
My PAL and US saves are all still there.
I can boot games like Resident Evil 4 (US) and it loads my existing save perfectly.
So it seems the card is actually working correctly, even though GCMCE insists it’s a Japanese card.
I’m using a GCMCE.
Has anyone seen this before?
Where does GCMCE get the information that the card is Japanese?
In the Settings the region is set as world.
Why does it keep recreating the same Japanese card even after deleting everything?
Could the adapter itself contain some default image or firmware that restores it?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Found a CRT rejuvenator, now im wondering how to use this thing and is it possible to restore PVM/BVM CRT screens with it to make them brighter again and prolong their life.
