Picked up an old Chima Sir Fangar constraction just for fun and the cool headpiece for use in a castle build in the future, although tbh I kinda dig Chima it was pretty fun and there's some nice figs for Beastmen in a fantasy setting.
Bonus big head barbarian with the left overs lol.
Alright Alright I know these aren't the best thing Lego ever did lol but I enjoy Knights Kingdom and well they're cheap because no one wants them hah.
Honestly I like them they're kinda fun, the shields are great and can be used as large motifs in MOCs (I built Vladek's shield into the dark fortress for example). With a bit of tinkering might even make good statues in something.
I'm a collector at heart and they are a part of Castle even if they didn't go down well, one thing I can say about the lack of popularity is I've only paid £3-£4 for each one (that's less than the average Minifigure).

Saw this on Rebrickable and thought it would make an excellent bandit camp for the Bulls as they've always been lacking a good base.
I use about 90% Alt brand bricks and 10% Lego, all the Minifigures are original, original build has a brick built deer but I had the Magic stag from harry potter knocking about so used that instead.
I need to figure out how to make a crucifix for the Witchfinder but the pitchfork suits for now.

2233pcs includes light bricks (have no batteries so show them)
Parts quality is very good, nothing missing, and instructions are clear and concise.
The build is interesting and there's some nice features like the big sunroom window, some excellently built curtains in the bedroom and even a nice little toilet.
It's a great display piece from the front with lots of details but I will say it feels unfinished like there should be a rear section, why is there half a bath? It just seems like it was designed to be a larger doll house style build that splits in the middle. I'm very tempted to buy a second one and build a rear section and garden myself.
All in all a very decent Haunted House build with potential to be more.

This is a fun little set, parts quality is decent and the instructions are well put together. I'm a fan of all things spooky and monstery so this set was right up my alley and for the price this is a really good little build that will go nicely with all my other Haunted houses etc. If you enjoy this kind of thing can highly recommend picking it up, there's even a crank mechanism to open and close the giant man eating plant. Most of the signs are printed but the main sign is a sticker that I decided to leave off.
I Paid £130 for it which is pretty good for this set I think. It has a few issues like a Troll with a broken arm (I used a grey one and brown gloves and made him the whip master with one armoured arm), a few brittle brown/dark red pieces I had to replace and the tips of the Dragon's wings are a bit chewed up but overall extremely happy to get it for a fairly low price.
Box 1 - Mostly from Castle and CMF's
Box 2 - Nexo Knights, Chima and a few CMF's
Box 3 - Ninjago with a few Dreamzzz etc
It's a decently fun build and a nicely little Castle/Fantasy/Horror crossover it also has two of the best stained glass windows Lego have done I think. Pretty sure the Observatory is a throwback to the Fright Knights Lord's Castle.
Looking forward to the new Midnight Valley theme, even though it's not strictly going to be Castle there should be plenty that would crossover and I do like Horror themed sets.
I already had the Minifigs in my collection from various funds and was lucky enough to find the fortress itself for £40 without the figures. Probably cost about £180 total with what I paid for the figures in the past. Just happy to finally add this to my collection.
A dusty old mess with no minifigs (I already have those anyway) but it's cleaning up nicely.
Found the Tattoo Green Troll on eBay for £25 to complete the set at last, a fairly reasonable price I think.
