I'm sure I'd know a few, but for some reason Ponyta's is the most obvious to me. Something about it just says "horse" in my mind.

Whether it's an official game or a romhack, the king always has a spot on my squad. I usually like to get a ground type in the lineup, and poison is nice to have in case of fairies. Bonus points if he's got Sheer Force.

I'll also never say no to Gyarados if I didn't get a water starter.

The androids maybe, but damn if this wasn't the perfect opportunity to asspull a few completely new, badass characters that we've never seen because they were literally on the other side of the universe until Whis or whoever brings up their existence.

No disrespect but instead we have to settle for Tien Krillin and Roshi? Being friends with Frieza? I know we got a host of characters from other universes but let's be real, how many of them are we really gonna see again? I wanted better for us.
