Looks like approximately 70 day until a new bottom is set as we teeter on support in the low 60’s ..,it’s going to play out like if did last time. Would not be surprised if if went as low as 47-49k before moving up to 230-250k by Sept 1 +/- 14 days

The First one hit the lot around 5:00 pm yesterday. Luckily it’s my sold unit has an MSRP slightly above 150,000. The interior gives a whole new feel like a complete overhaul even though it’s a refresh. This is a big vehicle but feels like it’s much smaller when you drive it. So I made my wife ramen soup. When I served it she said I had the gas set to hight and it was too hot ? She said I should have used the number 5 setting instead of 9. I told here it’s irrelevant because water boils at 212 and gets no hotter because over 212 it turns to steam. She was made at me for disagreeing with her theory that it would not have been so hot if boiled a lower setting. Really!!

Let’s state from the beginning as I have been using the same independent CPA for 10 years. The CPA is about 45 minutes to an hour away. My wife convinced me to try to find a CPA closer to the house. So I figured H&R Block could do pretty basic taxes. The rep I had was concerning when I noticed 1 year of experience. However I assumed she knew what she was doing as their system is like a proprietary version of like Turbo Tax. Upon finishing my tax it seemed about 1000 higher with the same circumstances as the prior year. I have about 30,000 short term carryover losses and about 8000 long term for 2024. In 2025 I had about 7500 is short term investment profits. She told me I had to declare the gains and could only use 3000 of the losses to offset the 7500 gain .. she said I would be taxed on the 4500. I asked are you sure? She said yes the government does not want to promote reckless behavior and changed the rules.

I paid the 440.00 not feeling good about the situation so I asked CHAT GPT. I got conflicting information and went back. I was told to come back in 2 hours ! I go back (3rd visit) and she asked me where I got the information that you can offset 100% of your gains and take another 3000 in losses. I told her CHAT GPT, she said chat GPT is wrong ONLY the IRS website is correct. I leave and go home and pull up the same information from the IRS website. I go back a 4th time and tell her what I found. After 30 minutes of back and forth and taking copies on my 2024 taxes she said I fixed them. She printed out the corrected copies but had submitted the wrong ones earlier and said she would file an amendment. I was relieved to figured it out and left. I mailed in my check the following day for the amount I was told I owed. YESTERDAY I received a letter from the IRS that I owe them over 1000 because the amount I sent did not match my E-Filed return… I was able to pull up on the H&R Block website what I owe and it matched what I sent and the fixed paperwork I was given BUT the filed return I pulled up was the incorrect one so I was not fixed. Now on Monday I have to go back and asked them to send a the amended return.. At this point I also have about 80.00 of penalties.. it’s shouldn’t take 6 visits to file a simple return without all the drama

I think this was a test or of some sort or to cover some short term obligations for the company.

Literally this is not a no parking street and there is an in ground sprinkler system that runs along the sidewalk. I didn’t want to call the police because the ground was hard enough where there were no intentions.. but was definitely mildly infuriating

The salesperson came back with this. He said I don’t know how to say this but this is what my manager thinks of your offer 😳

21 years contributing (was self employed before then) I was capped due to HCE cap limits. Big mistake was hiding in Money market funds from 2015-2023. 13-14 years until retirement hoping to have 3 million by then. It has been increasingly difficult to keep putting in as much as I have been. My 175,000 ( give or take 10k) has been my annual from for 22 years. The problem is now 175,000 goes nowhere as far as it did then. In perspective 175,000 in 2003 was like 305,000 today.
