Is applying for a persona/debt consolidation loan with some of my local credit unions a smart play to consolidate my debt?

Greetings. Been in a debt spiral for the better part of the year now (around 5 months) due to mismanaging some payday loans that I had. Currently in a situation where I have about $2073.47 of debt, from a credit card and borrowing agencies like Sezzle. With that in mind, and being frustrated about not having any money these past months, I've contacted a couple of reputable credit unions in my city to look at their options.

Being at a 478 Credit score through trans union and a 488 in Experian doesn't give me much optimism about approval, but the credit unions I have talked to discuss that other facts, such as DTI, income, and other related factors, are taken into account when making a decision, and credit score isn't the only factor they use. Would it be a smart plan to try one of these loans, or should I look for another method?

ALICE/M1967 LCE and Rucksack

Finally got to a point i can consider this WIP 90 percent done. This with the exception of the securing straps on the top of the rucksack's shoulder straps and the blackhawk IVS belt is all USGI surplus.

The LCE is:

M1967 H Suspenders with all the meat hooks removed and replaced with 550 cord.

Surplus LC2 ALICE pistol belt with the black fastex buckle.

4x LC2 ALICE triple mag pouches.

2x LC2 ALICE pistol mag pouches.

M8A1 Scabbard with M7 Bayonet

2x LC2 ALICE Canteen covers.

UM84 Pistol holster with an M9 inside.

M1967 field pack/buttpack (unfortunately there aren't any nylon duck OD Green three day training field packs I could find and the only one I posses is the M81 Woodland variant that is on my FLC. I didn't want to use the M1961 field pack as I wanted as much nylon instead of canvas).

USGI jungle style IFAK.

Blackhawk IVS Belt Pad (much more comfortable and prevents the metal from sticking into you.

All items except the holster and scabbard are affixed via zip ties.

The rucksack consists of:

USGI LC2 ALICE Large rucksack.

USGI LC2 ALICE frame.

USGI LC2 ALICE shoulder straps in M81 Woodland.

USGI LC2 ALICE waist strap with black fastex buckle.

Overall its a nifty setup except the ruck primary due to the frame as being a shorter person does me no favors. If you are taller (around 5'9) you'll probably have a lot more sucess with the frame depending on torso height. Otherwise it's a nice little nostalgic setup and definitely a good budget friendly option if you know where to look (ebay does wonders).

Next step for me is to build a MOLLE equivalent LBE.

Looking for directions on an M16A5 clone I'm building.

Picture above for reference:

So im in the process of specing out a M16A5 clone, and wanted some direction as to the order of parts I should buy, as this will be my first AR I've built.

I'm thinking of getting the KAC M5 RAS first since that is by far the rarest part of the build as getting them for a good price can be difficult.

After that, I'm thinkint of VLTOR's A5 buffer kit because A: thinking of getting some type of frt or super safety in the future and B: the A2 stock doesn't suit someone with t-rex arms like me. I've shot a lot of A2 stock rifles at the range by me and the length of pull, cranining my neck forward to get a good sight picture is a pain in the ass, as well as shouldering it with any body armor I have will add misery on top of such. So the A5 system with a adjusrable stock seems like a good idea, particular since I have my PSA rifle with its adjustable stock which works well for me.

Beyond these two parts, what is the order of parts i should be buying in and what recommends do yall have for parts such as the upper, lower, barrel, etc.

You guys ever wonder what the average citizen thought when Kyoshi was moving the Island?

Like, imagine being on the lou, and suddenly you feel a massive earthquake and winds that are like a hurricane.

Or suddenly in the winter, it's a lot colder than before (Because it's a lot closer to the South Pole)

Or the fact that going out into the ocean, you get met with a giant, murderous Eel.

Not to mention, I imagine the sound of the Island moving pretty much made everyone deaf (or maybe not IDK I'm not a geologist).

Got this reply in my email in regards to both positions i applied to at a recent hiring event stating i am eligible for the grade scale listed on both (GS-0962-5). Both applications are still in the recieved status. Is there any thing else I should do at this point or just let it be?

So recently i went to a hiring event in Covington, told I was unable to be selected, but later that day recieved emails stating a am still eligible. Reached out to my assigned hr person, but aside from that, is there anything else i can expect at this stage?

If you are ever rejected from a direct hire event, is there any documentation you would recieve as to why?

Recently went to a IRS hiring event hosted in Convington. Ended up being summarily rejected after a couple sit downs (from both positions), neither IDs or any resumes I had were taken and the both people I spoke with struggled with my surname. The three people who gave me the rejection stated it was "based on the availabile information" I gave them. Will i receive any documents or emails regarding the rejection or will it just remain a vauge "unable to select."

Ways to improve comfort of the ALICE Frame?

So recently I made a post about the 1622 Frame from DEI. While I am still liking that frame, I'd also like to look into upgrading my pot metal alice frame as a backup in case said 1622 frame breaks since I do know there are pros and cons that come with polymer and metal frames and running the frame as it stands with no padding is actual hell on my back.

Medium Woodland ALICE rucksack LC-2 on DEI Gear's 1622 Arch Frame

Just got this rigged up earlier. By default, the frame is already much more comfortable than the metal ALICE frame. When using LBE (in my case alice as can be seen 5-8), it's not too bad but I do need to play around with the straps to limit the swaying. This is the tricky part when you are short and use LBE + a ruck. It's also much better than the 1606 MC frame I have.

Avatar Generations might not be the best game, but the art is pretty cool imo.

How shouuld the ALICE frame sit respective to the web gear?

This is my Medium Alice pack with my LBE. The frame itself sits in this kinda slanted forward position because I can't have it too snug otherwise it will cause the top bar of the frame to raise to a point where looking around is difficult. One of the detractions of being short. I have one of DEI's frames on the way but in the meantime, is this slightly bent forward position of the frame how it shoukd be or is it supposed to sit more flush to the body.
